Yes, depending upon my position I’m playing on our hockey team, if I’m goalie, I always double cup. One for each testicle is what I tell my teammates. Ha ha ha
Need some help from the cup experts. I'm a senior citizen and just signed up for a senior fall soccer league. I'm going to need a new jock with a cup and haven't purchased one or worn one since the mid 70's. I will be wearing a full jock with a cup under compression shorts which is to protect my oversized thighs from chaffing while playing. I don't want a cup in the briefs, a jock only. I foresee wearing this jock about 4 to 6 hours or so, twice a week, so I'm looking for something that's comfortable but still give me the protection I need while running and kicking and hanging out after a match. I have an average cock and balls, so nothing outrageous to be packed into the jock or cup. I've seen a few cups on line, but I'm really not up to date on what's good and not good. I have an extensive jock collection and enjoy them tremendously so hopefully, this new one will be a welcome addition. Thanks for any recommendations and advice!!!

The best are the Diamond MMA cups. They come with jocks or shorts with a built in jock. Otherwise I go with ShockDoctor. For soccer you don't need heavy protection so a regular Shock Doctor cup, or even soft cup, should be fine.

This is the Shock Doctor cup. I wore one Saturday for soccer. I wore it all afternoon and it is streamlined so doesn’t cause chafing, I wear it with a jock over compression shorts.

I have to agree, it’s one of the best on the market and the flexibility of it is a huge draw for me. Not to mention it looks good in the locker room as you strip off to shower. At least the younger guys do a nice double-take

Thanks again for the info. I bought the Shock Doctor Ultra Pro Jock with the Ultra Cup. Supposed to be delivered Saturday. I decided to go the heavy duty cup route, with your comfort comment and also because knowing my luck, I'll get groin wacked the first day playing. Mr. Murphy's law is always close!!
As much as I like the cup, you will probably throw the jock away after one use. Stick with one of your jocks you have for this cup. Maybe other guys have better luck, but I think I remember the straps being sewn farther back on the waistband and thought they were a pain to wear.

If you haven’t worn a cup in years and need to start wearing one for long periods of time, I suggest you wear it around the house first to get used to it before you play. Shock Doctor cups are comfortable but initially it will feel like you have a hard piece of plastic between your legs. You do! But you will get used to it and soon may not notice you even have one on.

I rocked a cup to the office this past week. It’s been a long time since I’ve done this (college). Felt great to be contained like that again in public, and adjust as needed throughout the day. Took me back to my day on the baseball diamond (and dugout).
That's why I'm doing a cup again. I remembered all the crotch shots I took in football especially in my college playing days. Some guys were down right mean. Now being older, things are damaged a bit more easily, hurt more, and don't heal up as fast, but nothing is going to slow me down. Ik still love completive sports and they are still fun.

Jocked up in the new (but getting rapidly scented/stained and loved on,) cup jockstrap over my daily wear Fruit of the Loom XL boys 18-20 briefs yesterday evening before some house repair activities. Then wore the cup all evening while working. After the work, I eventually ended up sleeping overnight with just the cup on after shedding the underwear briefs and putting the cup back on.
