Just had to get this out... after almost a decade digging around for CUPS in Used Sporting Goods Stores and Thrift Stores out here on the «Left Coast», I hit gold today in a Hospital Thrift Store of all places. Until recently they wouldn't put «intimate items» out for sale and just threw them in the garbage but today, rummaging through bins full of mostly useless «sports gear» up popped FOUR cups! One was complete with its very spiffy and colourful spandex jock-shorts (unfortunately a pee-wee size); then a ShockDoctor «youth» cup; finallly TWO «Mueller» adult cups with flexible sides like one of the big-name brands (I forget which). The MUELLERs were notable because NO stores I've managed to search in BC carry that brand of jocks. Only explanation is that two guys from here must have attended a Hockey Camp and brought them back. I don't blame them for tossing those cups, given the flimsy construction and materials, but there's really NO decent CUP in any of the Sports Stores or anywhere else out here. I didn't bother to pick up any of them, but at least it's an indication that SOME guys out here are wearing CUPS....hmmmmm....

Back East, «Frenchy's» Used Clothing Depots were a gold-mine for finding jocks and cups as they imported a lot of their stuff from the USA so it wasn't at all unusual to find a wide variety of American brand name jocks in the «Gentlemen's Underwear» bins and cups neatly lined up on a shelf in their Sporting Goods section.. It was my introduction to the Flaherty «BUB» brand and I so enjoyed the many BUB jocks Frenchy's served up that on my very next trip to NYC I made a pilgrimage to the Flaherty establishment and blew far too much money on a suitcase full of their jocks and cups. Then I had to (regrettably) jettison the boxes and tags and rotate through wearing all of them so I could make them look «worn» at Canada Customs on my return.

.....great story man!...so, is that FRENCHYS still there?...if so, would I be able to find it *on-line* and purchase some cups and/or jocks that way?
.....*hospital -thrift-store*?...hummm...I never knew hospitals had their own thrift stores...must be a BC thing...huh?...wish I knew of any here!.....maybe I better go and check the hospitals around here!

On Sunday, all day i didn't wear anything other than boring grandfatherly black briefs until the evening. (Was working very physically on house projects and needed comfort during the day. ). Then later I got to wear one of my new cup jockstraps that had just arrived from Epic Sports during the afternoon. Jocked up after taking a shower and enjoyed wearing a cup for the 1st time in about 40 years! V-Sports brand Taiwan made adult mens large. Laid in bed with it on and took the picture here.

Later that evening I fucked the cup inside of the pouch. It felt so good again to play with the cup. I made my initial cum deposit inside of the cup and pouch then stored it to dry out in my dresser drawer!

Going to wear it again later today to do some lawn work and get the gear to have its first sweat soaking plus dampen the dried cum!

The FLAHERTY STORE was on one of the main north-south streets in mid-town Manhattan. That was in the 80s and was long gone before 2000. There were numerous attractive displays of their various products (displays that a Sporting Goods Store could have for their own sales floors if they bought a sufficient quantity and selection of Flaherty products) but that Manhattan store also kindly sold «retail» to walk-in individuals. I remember, as a teenager, buying at least five different items without the slightest raised eyebrow from the staff even though I certainly didn't fit the stereotype of a hulking super-jock. Those Flaherty jocks were the «Cadillac» of jockstraps — super-butch, heavy-duty & supremely comfortable — obviosly designed to capture the market of men who knew what a good jock should feel and perform like, and Flaherty provided them. The demise of the original Flaherty operation was followed by an attempt to revive the brand name but the «new» products were only a poor imitation of the originals. SAD!
