this is how I was raised too as I am the only son, Dad would share every thing with me, especially when the use of the jockstrap would come up, or the use of a condom! I would see him see sleep in the jock strap more than once when he would come home after working the 11-7 shift in the summertime!

No the dad didn't wear cartoon briefs. But son got excited trying on dad's jock he could never fit in a that point. Dad pinned his jock waistband and leg straps so his son could get the feeling. So he did enquire from me should his boy get a jock I always said yes any boy Can be strapping early and often like dad.

Join a YMCA ! The Y’s are usually very family oriented, even requiring underage members to be accompanied by a (parent, sibling) responsible adult. Many individual facilities have “family” in their titles. If your son doesn’t see [Dad or other] guys dressing/undressing in jockstraps in the YMCA locker room, he probably won’t see them in other fitness centers. It definitely takes a father [figure] to convey the common sense, personal comfort and health/safety benefits of wearing a jockstrap regularly. If mothers and older sisters have comfortable “bra talk” with adolescent girls, there’s no reason the “jock talk“ shouldn’t become a standard for the guys. It’s all about basic life skills and knowledge.
GREAT IF you can hand down your jocks to son or nephew. But if that doesnt haappen you might find a young man in your neighborhood or gym thats isnt strapped. I as a teenager dad told me wear you Bike jock for your outside chores. I always did what dad asked. At 62 still a avid jockstrap lover.
And have a couple of jocks in his size in your gym back to give him after the talk!
You would surprised how many dads I've talked to dropped the ball when teaching the boys about jockstraps. My current fiance didn't find out about a jockstap till age 20.

There have been a few dads for some reason for whatever reason the boys at a young age didn't see dad strapping. So they would go to school wearing boxers and shorts. Jocks were not enforced for them to wear.

Sure dads didn't really dress in front of kids. Nudity isn't really an in thing!
My own nephews were not introduced to wearing a jockstap in thier younger soccer days or school pe in 90"s. It wasn't till my youngest got into hs football he needed a ua jock cup.
