Does anyone wear jockstraps for their original intended purpose of extended bicycling?
I always do but then I wear gym shorts to ride. I've seen posts where guys won't wear one if they use bike shorts because of the friction within the pouch. Anything to keep the boys from shifting from side to side while you pedal will make for a better ride.Does anyone wear jockstraps for their original intended purpose of extended bicycling?
No chafing, but my distances are only about 25 miles so not a lot of time in the saddle. The brand I don’t remember. Seems like there were 2 or 3? of the same thing marketed under different brand names. I just picked one. What brand? No chafing?

I absolutely tried wearing the padded shorts separately and while my ass didn't get as sore, my balls flopped around after awhile. Only wearing a jock and shorts caused my backside to hurt on long trips, but together really works for me, weird or not.Ditto! When I bike in “street clothes” I always wear a jock - just more comfortable. Ambivalent on wearing with padded lycra bike shorts. They don’t move in those (too tight) but I sometimes wear a jock anyway .
That's what I did today, however, I can say padded shorts are nice sometimes.I do. Standard 3" athletic supporter. I don't wear any special shorts or anything though. Just my regular clothes, plus the addition of my jock to keep my boys supported.
I considered getting padded shorts a few years ago. My seat was terribly hard. I ended up just getting a seat cover though. That's what I did today, however, I can say padded shorts are nice sometimes.

I posted a story on the ‘Bright and Flashy Waistbands’ Forum a while back about a very positive outcome to wearing a jockstrap on one bike ride…
I’ve been looking at the Castelli cycling suits. Properly fit they keep the boys up and out of the way?I wear Castelli bike short no jock naked in short
soft, wide cock ring maybe?I do a lot of bicycle riding. Its funny that I don't wear a jock for its original intended purpose. My bikes have narrow saddles meaning that some of my weight is supported in the middle. I've found that the junction of the butt straps & the pouch is very uncomfortable on my taint when in the saddle. I do wear padded lycra bib-shorts but they lack the genital support that I want. I would like to keep the boys front-and-center on the bike as well.
I’m a fan of Castelli. I’ve got a bib and padded shorts combo which I wear with a jersey, but I still wear a jockstrap for comfort.I’ve been looking at the Castelli cycling suits. Properly fit they keep the boys up and out of the way?
I guess I'm lucky that a Golberg works well in conjunction with shorts. I also felt the shorts lacked support.I do a lot of bicycle riding. I also thought about the wildman T ringed jockstrap. That might work for you.I do a lot of bicycle riding. Its funny that I don't wear a jock for its original intended purpose.
