In school, we didn't really have many boys wearing jockstraps. It was pretty much the football team, the baseball team, and a small handful of boys outside of that.
Of those boys who wore jockstraps, it was usually only the football players who wrote their name on their jock. I was always envious of those boys. Looking around the locker room, seeing "smith #29", or "Jackson #12" always made me feel like those boys had an extra special need to protect their boyhoods.

Seeing some of you with your screen names written on your jockstraps on here, it got me thinking. I know jockstraps aren't a common sight in locker rooms anymore, but how much weirder would it be for a majority of guys, if they were to glance over and see "Thompson #04" on my jockstrap, since I'm well out of my high school years?

Here in Europe wearing jocks in sports teams isn't really popular, so i can't share any jock stories from my hockey days back then (field hockey... it isn't an all female sport over here!). But I consider those tags on a jock as really sexy... i'd tag mine in an instant... and if I saw such a tag on some guy's jock, it would bone me up real hard instantly

Names on jocks was common in my schools... in junior high, most of us wrote it on the outside. Most near the front, but a few on the back. Getting to high school, we found out most of the older guys wrote it on the *inside*. A lot of us started freshman year with the same jock we'd worn in 8th grade, or labeled a new one like we had the year before. But our next jock, we switched locations.

It did seem to vary from school to school, judging by what I saw wrestling.

We were urged if not required to put our initials on our jocks, on the outside in front near the label, and if on a sports team your jersey number. Starting freshman year with the same jock from 8th grade? Never. Always new ones (minimum three) at the beginning each school year, so you had one in your locker, one in the wash at home, and a third at home for pickup games.

Agreed. Saw this with jockstraps. Each team might have a different location, but they all were the same. With and competition Speedos it was almost always the inside side label.

I’ve always said if I ever had a jock with someone name on it. It would be someone who owns me for a period of time as I’m master/dom. Would be hot for sure.

.....I think you should just do-it for the sheer-satisfaction-of-it!...you don`t need any other-reason and you don`t need-to-explain-it...unless somebody actually "asks" about-it!...a "great-reason" for somebody (maybe even a *HOT* "JOCK" type guy who`s quite-good-looking, friendly, and very curious)!...I don`t work for NIKE but, "JUST-DO-IT"...it could-even-be a GREAT-conversation-starter!....just to put your name and a number on the waistband of your favorite *wide-waistband* jockstrap!......I think I might just try THAT!...JUST FOR THE FUN OF IT!...THANKS SCOTT!...so, instead of just wearing-a-jockstrap into a locker-room, have your name and a number on-it.....very clever!..( for all that anybody knows, you could-be the COACH of a high-school or college lacrosse-team)!....I really like that idea!
