SafeTGard swimmer jocks were great lightweight jocks. When I was in Iraq I wore them exclusively. Great for a hot arid climate. Our laundry facility did chew them up though. I left with a dozen, I finished my tour with only one of the original bunch.

Did any of the guys that you served with make any comments about your jocks? Did any of them strap up? I must agree that they are the perfect garment for the conditions!

Still have a gold safetgard thong jock. Nice thing about it is that there is a limit how far the waistband will ride up your back if wearing your speedo or shorts with the thong back.

I love the feeling of a thong under my jockstrap even today Now I wear a neoprene thong cock ring under my jock and hard cup every day under my work uniform.

White waistband was pretty common in gym class above red shorts, but a gold one would draw a lot of unwanted attention and a jock wedgie with a thong back would be rough.

Ergo my dislike of buttfloss. . . because in my schools, the other teammates and classmates pulling and snapping your waistband was unavoidable . . . but payback was fun!
