I make most of my own fundoshi, it’s just a long strip of lightweight cotton. I’ll buy three yards of cloth, then tear it lengthwise into strips about 10-inches wide — all done!

You can also purchase fundoshi already made, usually with the edges hemmed. Try eBay or Amazon

I like variety. My underwear collection contains:

• Boxers (yes, I'm one of the few who still wear boxers)
• Boxer-briefs
• Trunks
• Briefs - low-cut and no fly
• Thong - very occasional

I wear boxers too. Also boxer briefs and briefs when not wearing a jock.

Wish they would bring them back. They offer more support than the standard y front. All the good stuff seems to go away. I have a bunch of Jockey low rise no fly pouch briefs which I love to wear and they are gone too.
