The penis is such a beautiful thing uncut. Unfortunately we as babies have no choice in the matter here in the states. It a barbaric practice dating way back. By circumcising boys at birth is wrong & as a society we need to abolish this stupid unnecessary surgical practice. We should as adult men be able to make our own choice. (I’ve always believed that approach to be ”convoluted” since it’s more difficult to “undo” a circumcised penis, as opposed to allowing a guy to later decide for himself.). While in my teens, he suggested to me that the [circumcision] process might have “robbed [me of] some important sensitivity while having sex” into my adult life. As far as the issue of circumcision, I very much envy intact guys. As an adult, I learned that my father wanted me left intact as he was. Unfortunately, the very unethical doctor who delivered me had other plans. My mother said no one ever asked her or my father what their wishes were. She also said that neither of them signed any type of consent form. That was confirmed by the hospital when I demanded a complete copy of my birth records. The records simply stated that the unethical doctor "ordered" that I be circumcised immediately in the delivery room.

There is such a perverse obsession with circumcising baby boys in the US. It's all about money and profits. Infant circumcision is a very easy way for the doctors and hospitals to collect more money and increase their profits. I would give anything to have my foreskin and often wonder what sensations I will never be able to experience. I find uncircumcised men to be incredibly attractive for being whole. The almost-automatic circumcision trend was in full swing in the late ‘60s. Before my dad passed away I asked why I was “different” than the other boys in the locker room. He told me he insisted and had to hold firm against dire warnings if he didn’t allow me to be cut. But he was uncut and said if it was good enough for him, it was good enough for me.

The answer to your question is un-retracted, and you probably already obviously figured that out from the previous comments. It was a very good topic to mention about, for educational purposes alone. Here in California the infant circumcision rate is among the lowest in the USA. Most guys who I know here that are under 35 have intact foreskins. There aren't any valid reasons for cutting baby boys, and we should put a complete stop to this barbaric practice. There are laws preventing circumcision (genital mutilation) of infant girls in the USA, and boys deserve to have the same rights to maintain their natural genital integrity. It's your penis, it should be your decision to make! It's not for the parents or the medical community to make the decision for an infant boy.
