Sharing jockstraps as boys

When you were still a boy (17 or younger) did you share your jockstraps with anyone? Lend one to a buddy or a brother? Or did anyone share theirs with you?

I had shared two of my jockstraps with buddies. The first one was my first jockstrap, my CCM hockey goalie jockstrap. I showed it to my best buddy growing up. He proceeded to drop his briefs, and pulled it up, tucking his massive boyhood inside it. He wore it for a few hours while having me knee him in the crotch. He was liking feeling invincible.
The second one, I shared with my next door neighbor’s girlfriend’s son. He was a few years younger than me, but pretty cool dude to hang out with anyway. I was showing him my soccer gear, and pulled out my jockstrap (XO Athletic Pro Supporter with Teen Pro Cup). He was asking about it, so I showed him how it worked. After giving it a few knocks in the cup, he asked if he could try it on. So I helped him get into it. Unfortunately for him it was WAY to big, so he basically had to hold it up by the waistbands.

Loaned mine as a senior in high school to a junior (also a neighbor) whose leg straps had detached from his pouch. Due to my schedule, one semester, I had to take a junior PE class but most days assisted the coach and never dressed out. That is until we had a sub and there was no talking my way out of it. I don't know if the coach figured I was bigger or more mature than the juniors or what was the reason he had me assist rather than taking the class. I got the jock back at the end of class. I don't know why the junior didn't get one out of the lost and found, other than mine was clean!

With apologies to my middle brother, he’s the most awesome brother anyone could have, particularly for a gay younger brother. The jockstrap was Bike — I had a Champion for my sports, but I wasn’t really “into” it until my studly older brother’s was there all dingy and sweat-soaked and smelling like the best scent ever. I do have it still actually — because of the provenance it was treasured and went with me when I entered the Academy and was the foundation for my collection.

Love to hear that! I still have my first jockstrap too, my dad's Bike that he gave to me to use for 6th grade basketball. I wonder what made your brother want to just give it to you. Did he always share like that? I'm the oldest brother and I'd be hard pressed to give my younger bro my jock.

I've definitely loaned out my cup and cup supporter to lacrosse teammates who forget theirs. That's why I always keep a spare cup and supporter in my gear bag. Not sure how many times I've done that over the years. I always reassure guys that it's clean and perfectly fine, that if it looks dirty at all it's just because it's been in my gear bag with all my other muddy gear. Truth is though I've never washed that spare supporter. That's pretty common in lacrosse though, and pretty much required if the goalie for some reason forgets his.

Spare is a Bike cup and supporter, old-school wideband, white with tracer stripes. A couple times I've lent it to guys who kind of laughed cause they were expecting one of the newer Shock Doc supporters, and probably hadn't ever worn an old-school one like that if they're young enough. Both times though, after the game, they gave it back to me saying how much better it was than the newer crappier cups and supporters.

hell yeah! Old School bike ftw. that oughta show them what support they should be using for their manhood. if it was me, I would have told them this is what they need to get. and helped em find them if they agreed.

I did now and then with friends if we were hanging out and decided to go down to the park and shoot around on the basketball court, or throw/hit a baseball around. They usually wouldn't have any of their own stuff with them, so I'd loan them some of mine. We all did that for each other.

In high school, when my best friend and I had PE the same period, we'd swap jocks over the course of the week.
