Recommend jockstrap brands??

Hey y’all!
Recently just got into jockstraps and thinking of making the switch to only wearing jocks. I currently own a couple pairs of Goldbergs and love how they fit but feel that the pouch is going to fall apart over time. I’ve heard that shock Doc, GYM, and McDavid fit nicely.
What other brands do you all recommend?
I spend a lot of time in the saddle so comfort is a must!
Thank you 🤠

You don't want to bounce on your nuts in the saddle (like I did on a tractor seat) so I'm thinking the Golbergs are still the way to go. However the GYM 2.0 straps have a shorter pouch and are very comfy (waistband is forgiving)and supportive (pouch confining like Golberg) I'd just order more Golbergs and rotate them more so they will last. Mine are over 2 years old and wash up fine.

You should definitely check out our own brands: JC Athletic and PRO jockstraps. We have our original JC Athletic Classic Sports Jocks in either a 3 inch or swimmer - both come in white or black. We also have our JC Athletic Old School Sports Jocks. Plus we have our Pro Jocks, which like the GYM jocks are based on Bike jocks. We've our PRO proformance jocks in both 2 inch and swimmer versions in lots of colors.

Here's a link to our JC Athletic jocks and gear:

And here's a link to our PRO jockstraps:

Not to mention, if you shop with Jockstrap Central, you're supporting this website.

Cheers,

John.

I'm wearing jock except while I sleep. Really need support during lawn mowing, pickleball, etc. Continued to wear under all other attire--work, performance, casual, black-tie...
JC Athletics Classic is a favorite of mine--firm, comfy fit.
Cellblock 13 Tight End is another favorite--comfy & nearly as firm fit as JC Athletics Classic (? slightly larger pouch of CB-13 or different materials)..
Jockstrap Central currently has JC Athletics Classic on sale...that was another incentive for me.
Keep line of communication open with John--he won't steer you wrong.

If you want more in the fashion line, then Code22, TOF of Paris, Modus Vivendi and Barcode are good.
Code22 can be a tad constricting, but they do fuller pouches as well.
I also prefer a cotton or cotton mix and tend to avoid artificial fabrics for every day use, but will wear latex etc. for pleasure…!

Definitely take a look at the jockstrapcentral website. It’s honestly one of the best places to buy and their customer service is outstanding. The Pro brand is a really quality athletic style jockstrap and the pricing is very reasonable. I like the Wolf Brand and it’s always fun to try some of the more creative fetish jockstraps or assless briefs too.

Thank you for the glowing endorsement, I really appreciate it.

Just to let everyone know, we dropped the Cellblock 13 Tight End line, partly because we carried it for so long but also because our Alpha Charlie Barracks Jocks are very similar and it didn't make sense to carry what is essentially the same jock. Those style of jocks are copied so much now that almost everyone has a version of them. That's not to diss them, but we'd rather give shelf space to something unique.

I have found Arjen Kroos to be very comfortable for all day wear. Just buy a size up.
Sage advice, though the AK waist can be a little slack and require tightening when you size up for pouch comfort.

Thanks for the update, it makes sense. Love both lines, yes they're very similar. And have almost every color of both still going strong!

Maybe it’s just me but I found the CB13 sizes inconsistent. One medium would fit great, the next would be loose across the back. I stopped buying that brand after a few disappointments

Agreed on the CB13 size deviations— quite the variation in waistband dimensions within the same size. Annoying.

I'm not doubting you guys but we haven't had a lot of complaints about sizing in the many years we carried the Tight End Jocks. I do suspect that the Tight End jocks aren't made in the same factory as Cellblock 13's other creations, so perhaps that it the issue. I think there's only two or three factories in China making all the Bike knock-offs for all the brands out there (and there are a LOT).

Are you guys talking about just the Tight End jocks specifically or are you saying the sizing is inconsistent throughout all their designs?

Take my comment with a grain of salt — all of my CB13’s are . . . acquired. Thus they have been worn to varying degrees and treated roughly (just the way we like ‘em). It could be that the wear stretched some of them irregularly. I just know that we have two Tight End styles (among numerous others where we have more than one of the same style/size), one of which the waistband fits correctly and one of which the waistband, which gives no sign of the elastic being worn out, is slack and at least comparable to a large.

Tight End specifically, both the 3-inch and the swimmer style. The medium I got in olive green fit perfectly. I next got a medium in the robin egg blue and it fit like a large. I picked up a few of the swimmers despite the higher price point and they were actually slack across the back. Not comfortable.

It’s ok, there are many other manufacturers. This brand will have to win me back though.

It's a shame as our experience with the "regular" Cellblock 13 creations is one of quality and consistency. As mentioned above, I'm pretty sure they used a different manufacturer for their Tight End jocks - which doesn't excuse them as it's a reflection on their brand.

Some of t he brands i know are Andrew Christian for more of a stylish choice of jockstrap, Skull and Bones has a great selection, and i love how their jocks look as well, Mcdavid is a classic choice for those who want to keep wearing the sports kind of jockstraps, 2Xist has come good choices as well, i have a couple under armor ones that you can find to wear theyre super comfy, and make everything all nice tight, and snug. Another good brand you can try would also be cellblock, nastypig, and gruffpup. :)
