In school, we didn't really have many boys wearing jockstraps. It was pretty much the football team, the baseball team, and a small handful of boys outside of that.
Of those boys who wore jockstraps, it was usually only the football players who wrote their name on their jock. I was always envious of those boys. Looking around the locker room, seeing "smith #29", or "Jackson #12" always made me feel like those boys had an extra special need to protect their boyhoods.
Seeing some of you with your screen names written on your jockstraps on here, it got me thinking. I know jockstraps aren't a common sight in locker rooms anymore, but how much weirder would it be for a majority of guys, if they were to glance over and see "Thompson #04" on my jockstrap, since I'm well out of my high school years?
