I'm fine. Thanks for all the kind messages.

A brief outcome of my week in hospital:

I went into hospital on Monday with an internal bleed (third in six months). It's easy to dianose with an ileostomy as the "output" (Adrian and I jokingly call boop) had red in it. The bleeding stopped by the same afternoon but the doctors kept me in for testing and scans. They could have released me but it would have taken weeks to get all the scans done as an outpatient. So I had a CT Scan on Tuesday and two scopes (intestine and esophagus) on Thursday.

They determined the bleed was caused by inflammation thanks to the chemo which bled thanks to my low platelets and blood thinners I'm on. So they've put me on Pantaprozole which should help against future bleeds.

The frustrating thing was I was feeling fine all week so having to stay in hospital the whole time was beyond frustrating, I couldn't work and I was bored out of my tree.

Anyway, I'm back. Trying to rearrange that photo shoot and head back in for chemo on Tuesday.

Cheers guys,

John.

Hang in there buddy! You are too valuable to be pulled too soon. I offer you all the support you provide everyone else. Stay strong and strapped.

Have a week off in June. Willing to come up there and give you a firm locker room slap on the ass. Followed by a good long and hard leg strap snap followed by a waistband snap from hell. Keep in mind this is when you are wearing your 3" JC while jockstrap. Around your age and a traditionalist.

John, I hope the pantoprazole works. My GP put me on it years ago to protect my stomach from any side effects from many blood thinners etc.

I’m afraid that I’ve only just read this news, John.
Take care and ‘diven‘t fash yersel, hinny.’ (i.e. don’t worry yourself, mate over the website etc.) as they say in the Teeside/Tyneside area of the UK.
Best wishe to you both.
