Two new ones to choose from thanks to big sale at Jockstrap Central! Really wanted a purple strap.

We all have our “life badges.” Good for you for showing yours!
Love that term — “life badges” — and love the concept of showing them. I have mine from battle; a bit daunting to some. My husband now has a gnarly shoulder scar from a surgery to repair/replace a shattered shoulder after a bad bike encounter with a truck. We don’t hesitate to run, surf, do our WODs or anything else with them showing . . . and try to be patient when people react and ask (boring) questions out of curiosity rather than compassion.

Thanks for bringing this subject to light. The scars of life stick with us until the end. Those without scars are either very timid, or very lucky. The rest of us that have some road rash here and there have also been very lucky to have had a medical team to put us back together. I still don't take my shirt off in public because of my past. I guess I need to get over that. Somedays I feel like the blind, three-legged dog named "Lucky"

Be proud, bud. Survival is something to be celebrated as is a man’s body.
