Yes, solid. I put the shaft through, then one ball, then the other. Have to be soft. Most people, and sometimes I do, put balls through first, then fold shaft over and feed it through. Be careful though. If the metal diameter is too small, it'll really suck getting it off! Took trial and error finding the right size for me.

My sack as a mind of it's own. Sometimes it hangs low and full and other times it tight. When I wanted to try and put that on. Too much and would fit. Or the dick would get thick. Ever have a problem with that while wearing it?

I know that feeling, sometimes it simply isn't cooperative. I've been taking on and off over a few years now, so I can adjust, or wait a bit and try again. I do not have problems wearing it, it's 24/7 for me. I have several different ones and swap them out at times. But I tried a bunch before I found what works for me, in size and styles.
