Small town sporting goods store

When I travel I usually research to see if smaller towns have local sporting good stores. I just returned from a business trip where I had found a sporting goods store and browsing google images, I found these pictures (zoomed and cropped for my purposes). The images were added 6 years ago but I was still hopeful they were still there. I walked in the store yesterday, heart pumping, cock throbbing, brain racing as to how many of these classic Bike jockstraps I was going to purchase.

Unfortunately the box on the floor was nowhere to be found and all that was left on the wall were 2 adult Bike small jockstraps and the rest were Bike youth cup straps. I left empty handed.

Man that would have been fun. Haven't seen anything like that for a long time. I have gone to a few stores too, but the jock lovers have beat me to it when it comes to old stock BIKE jocks. (got one once). You can always ask if they have any old stock in the storeroom. Maybe they have some loose merchandise or damaged packages they'd like to get rid of. A friend of mine have picked up some good finds in thrift stores too. Sometimes someone will bring in clothes after cleaning out a house and you get lucky. I see you are from North Dakota. I knew a guy up there that sold BIKE jocks on ebay and he acquired his stash from going to mom-and-pop stores and buying all they had. He told me once he'd never run out of jocks to sell, but that was many years ago. He may have bought them out before you got there.

I even went into old style pharmacies because lots of jocks were sold in those types of places. Before I realized how much I am into them I went into a pharmacy that had a BUB brand display board with all styles and sizes. I was embarrassed to be staring and the clerk kept asking me if I wanted to check out , no I said.... still shopping. I saw the prices and they were in the $27 to $35 range! I was use to the under $5 price range. I saw a nice grey cup on the display board and wanted it but I was not alone and never went back. Sadly the store went out of business shortly there after. I never did get to the aisle where they were all for sale. That would have been fun, I think they even had the ones I've been looking for : SWIMMERS with lots of NYLON in the pouch, wheat colored and BAUER and BLACK with the blue stripes, some even had a fly in the pouch! Not that you need it but getting a used one thinking about the guy actually using that fly. I had a few used ones.

I'm 23 and got my first jock as soon as I got my license as I believe I've mentioned on here before, and my small town sporting goods store is exactly where I got it. It was a 2 pack of Bike #10 jocks for 6 bucks. At the time I didn't realize how hard they were to come by in stores! Now I feel lucky I was able to find them when I did because I wouldn't have been able to order them to my house back then.

Oh yes, I do! In my area it was Sports Mart before Sports Authority. I walked around that store in 1995 and then hit the jockstrap wall. It was 8' tall and 16' wide. It had every BIKE mainstream jockstrap available. They had 8' of BIKE #10s in the clamshell packages and it was during the transition when BIKE had the polyester pouch and was converting from the tan to the white jockstrap. I dug through the packages since I like the tan ones and bought 4 in my size. But they #19 (black jock), swimmer's straps, Cup strap/cup combo unit. Single cup strap supporters and BIKE support briefs. It was just a wall of jockstraps with many laying on the bottom shelf which had been opened and inspected. When I left the row of jockstraps there was even a clearance bin with a cup inside the cup strap combo perfectly inserted. Talk about a ROCK-HARD moment.

I always got rock hard in that aisle. too! I loved flipping through the wire bin of opened ones. One night I watched as a man was shopping and picked his out then proceeded to pay. I did all I could from asking him if I could watch him put it on! I am not too thrilled with DICKS as they just seem to carry SHOCK DOCTOR not my favorite and here they are super pricey, too! I miss the days of buying them for $2.99 or less. I loved the GRID brand and Bradlees sold them so I bought a few. The pouch fit me perfectly.

20 some years ago, the wife and I went to the local sporting goods store to purchase a jock or 2. I wear medium, and all they had was small and large. I told my wife before that my cups were to big, i fell out alot. I wished I could find a medium strap with a small cup. We went to ask the cashier if she could help. The cashier it turned out was a niece. We were in our 30s, she 18. Wife told me to ask her, I stuttered, and my wife said, do you have other jocks, he needs a medium. She went to look, and while she was gone my wife said to tell her you need a smaller cup. When she came back with a medium, I asked if she had any with a smaller cup? I said they are to big, but the small band is to tight. She suggested I check Bike and another company's website, they have custom sizes for smaller guys. So I bet she had a laugh later over that. But also I did end up contacting 2 jock companies and explaining my need for smaller cups, and they had some they recomended. One pair I bought fit better, but it still had space to spare.

There was a chain of discount retailers that went out of business some years ago that had 5 stores within a few hours of drive. Our local store put everything on clearance. I would buy shirts, jeans, household goods, etc., plus I would always browse the sporting goods to see if they had any jockstraps. They sold an off brand of jock but nothing in my size. I went to see what the clearance deals were. After finding some clothes at a great price, I headed over to sporting goods. They must have cleared out the storeroom as they had dozens of Bike straps for sale, all for a couple of bucks each. I bought 3 in my size and checked out. I returned later in the week and quite a few of them were gone. Now they were marked down to a buck a piece. I bought 4, thank god for self-checkout. On my next visit, there were only a few left in my size for 50 cents. I bought all of them.
The following weekend I made it my mission to visit the other stores. I was able to find 5 Bike straps in my size and spent only a couple bucks for them. I spent more on gas than I did on those straps!

Sports Authority is where I bought my first new (my second) jockstrap. I got an XO Athletic pro supporter with a teen-sized procup. I wore that through high school and part of college, as well as work. It protected my boyhood all the time. So much sweat, and so much cum, was absorbed by that pouch.
I wish they were still around.

Walmart seems to have them at the beginning of high school baseball season. Usually no adult sizes though.
They’re getting harder to get because they’re no longer a requirements for school or most sports.

Actually not as expensive but I still miss my bike 20 that was stolen. I don't know but think they were sniffed before put on.

While I never stole a jockstrap I did find one in the trash at the gym. I actually saw the guy who tossed it in there and he was hot, so I took it. It was a GRID medium. I often thought what if I took a jockstrap from the gym? Should I leave $20 ? Then I thought someone might see the 20 and take that so I would not steal. I would rather get it from the guy personally.

I did not. I waited until I got home, stripped down to my jock, the pouch bulging with my erect cock. I opened my new straps one by one, inhaling the smell of each of them. Then I held them all up to my face at once and jacked out a huge load inside the pouch of the jock I was wearing. Good times.

Ebay can still be a decent source. A lot are -way- overpriced but occasionally you can find one for a reasonable amount.

I’ve definitely splurged on eBay to get some vintage jockstraps. I definitely love to go to sporting goods stores to buy jocks (and usually some sports gear too). It sucks DICKS selection sucks now. It’s weird because their Speedo selection is pretty solid, but they only have those ugly shock doctor jocks. remember meeting this really cool hunky top guy when I was younger, he was into sports and i wanted to show him the jock i was, so before going to his house I drove to sports authority to buy a Rawlings jock to wear for him. I loved that they had a good selection and I ended up starting my collection from there.

it would be fun to go shopping with a likeminded guy, and buy each other jockstraps.
