This is a little more niche but if there's a community that can help with the information I bet it's this one. I'm looking for a old classic style athletic jock. But I want it (at least the pouch) to be made of cotton/wool/bamboo/plant derived rubber. I still want it to have the waffle mesh pouch, they were able to do that out of those materials in the previous centry so I see no reason why it cannot be done now. If anyone knows of one that meets this criteria and could point me to a place where I could buy it that would be awesome. If one does not exist then I guess I'll be looking to source materials and have a custom one made (and if anyone has advice on that route it would be appreciated as well).

The traditional pouch fabric is called webbing. As most of the sports jock manufacturers have gone the way of the dodo bird, you'd be hard pressed to find a modern "classic" sports jock with all-organic webbing. The only hope is now that Bike has been rebooted, perhaps they'll produce something like that as they (hopefully) have a bit more clout when it comes to having a factory produce custom webbing.

All the China produced "sports" jocks are using the same webbing which is the reason you have so many identical looking (mostly Bike knock-off) jocks. The only thing changing is the size specifications and the branding.

With that said, we can try asking our manufacturer in India who's making our JC Athletic jocks if a webbing like that exists. It's a great idea!
