Is it possible to have a more robust member search? Be able to search by the different sections of our profiles? I'd love that!

I'm assuming you're wanting to search what members have filled out in their custom fields (the questions that show up under the About tab) of the member profile pages? Things like Favorite Jockstrap Style, Favorite Brand, etc... Am I correct?

Although that's not built into the software that runs the site, there is an paid addon that allows you to search the profile but at the moment I'm far too busy between my chemo and my desperately trying to get the new Jockstrap Central website launched (I've only been working on it for six months!).

When the new site launches and I'm done all my hospital visits I can certainly look into paying for, installing and learning how to upgrade the site with that addon.

If it's something else you want to search on a profile, let me know exactly the type of thing you want to search on.

Yes, it's a major upgrade. Here's just a few of the features:

• It's mobile friendly and responsive to work on all viewports.
• There's a (long overdue) search function
• There's a customer portal so you can view past orders, current orders and see what you've bought previously.
• You can save, edit and delete multiple shipping addresses
• There's a wish list and a gift list (sort of like a gift registry where other people can buy you things without us divulging your personal details). Great for adult performers who's fans like to buy them things.
• There's a new improved gallery that I've designed to make it easier for me to update - and it already has more photos and models than the current gallery.
• The new product pages have a an improved photo viewer.
• The new product pages also have the product info broken down into collapsible sections (Description, Sizing Info and More Details) which is great for customers who don't want to read my VERY LONG product info all on on long page.

There's lots more plus I'm building us a better admin section to process orders and deal with product additions, putting things on sale, accounting stuff and all the other boring things I get Adrian to do, lol!

Most of the front end is now done, the checkout (ecommerce) is done and now I'm working on the admin section. Then I just have to do tons and tons of testing - as the new site is a complicated beast.

It would have been easy to buy an out-of-the-box ecommerce product but nothing was good enough. Most stores these days are using Shopify but they won't touch us as we're too adult, not to mention, I'm temporarily using Shopify for our JC Athletic website and as much as they say Shopfiy makes it easy to launch a store and easy to manage, it really is a nightmare. So, just like our current website, I'm building a new one from scratch - in my so called spare time!
