First experience knowing that I really thought a jockstrap was for me was when I was active duty military. The base hosted an Air Force swim team. At the pool, the guys all wore speedo swim suits and to the man wore a jockstrap otherwise. Seeing slim, well built 20yo guys like myself and almost everyone else at that age in a jockstrap. My birthday is in September. In the summer that I was 11.5, I wore a stolen jockstrap (From Rexall Drugs) under my swim trunks at summer camp. The camp counselor for my cabin asked who's jockstrap was that hanging on the line. Everybody pointed at me. Embarrassing. My penis was larger than most of the counselors.

Jocks or swimjocks under swim suits was a big thing years ago! It was so manly as a teen to jock up.

Being around 11 and having a huge package is not unusual. Glad you had 5 fingered a jockstrap to support your man hood. We all wore jockstraps for sports and there was one guy in the locker room who had a huge cock and ball sack of a man more than his age. We were getting ready for track, and he had on his strap complaining how it did not fit. Was not bragging but confused how everyone else could keep their jock in their jockstrap.

It wasn't trash talk It was a JOKE, based on the absence of the apostrophe (an error anyone might make). Without the apostrophe, it implies that your penis was larger than the actual human beings who ran the camp.

I got my first jock and cup at 8 for little league baseball. When I started taking karate the next year, I wore it then, too. My dad bought me my first plain jocks the spring I turned 12, he told me I should start wearing one for all the other sports, even just pickup games in the park. He thought I should get used to it since jocks would be required for PE when 7th grade started in the fall.

The first time I got my hands on a jock was when I entered 7th grade in ‘72 at 13. Our PE uniforms were specified down to our socks, and that included jocks. One poor guy, the fattest in our class (who a few years later turned into a handsome stud), put his jock on backwards. Everyone laughed at him. I felt sorry for him.
My brother, five years older, was a true jock who mocked me at every turn because I wasn’t athletic. I suspect that my mom had to wash his uniforms at times, including a jock, and likely let it dry on a line in the basement, but it never impressed me. (She may hav referred to it as his “athletic supporter.”)
l don’t wear a jock every day ( I prefer to go commando), but when I’m in the mood, I have a variety of jocks I can wear, and I truly enjoyed being fucked a couple weeks ago while wearing a cup.
