It's was a hockey jockstrap by JOFA, a sub-brand of Reebok but they don't make them anymore (based on a Google search). I did find them on Ebay but they're being sold as vintage and the sellers are asking $500 and up for them.

Thanks. I saw a photo of a friend wearing it as a party costume and I thought it was beautiful. I had to figure out what it was where it came from. And couldn’t find anything for sale that looks like it.

I don’t know what you swapped for it, but it seems you’ve got one expensive jock collectible now.

I'm fortunate to own a JOFA cup jock and have had it for probably 20 years. I used to wear it over a standard jockstrap. After hours of wear, it would get hot & super-sweaty under the foam-lined hard cup and, when wearing it over one of my raunchy loaded straps, super pungent as well. The first pic is is me wearing it with the Bike jock seen in the second image.

Do you still have all your old jocks and cups? The fabric/straps of your hockey cup are not too pretty anymore. But the cup is probably worth a bit
