Or is that *hung* dry?
Any pictures or stories to share about drying jockstraps? or shared laundry?
I tend to wash jocks with everything else for sanitation and then separate them out to hang dry for some amount of elastic preservation. I used to do this with all my elastics, underwear, socks, and sports shorts as well. i'm sure my old roommates just loved the extra humidity, no comments on the jockstraps. I haven't set up a hanging line here, and I'm afraid I'll forget them outside on the old clothesline, insect droppingspesticide and dust wind drift, etc. Also the wire is rusted badly, staining opportunity. This coat rack seems the usual spot at my place, here featuring a freshly washed Gym old school as well as a Roadrunner intended to be reworn. Sometimes I leave them in view of company, though I'm more shy about a conspicuous white jockstrap so I'll put more effort into hanging something else in front, and they'll dry slower. There's a clothes hanger with laundry line clips propped in front of the dehumidifier in the laundry room if I'm in a hurry or if they're still dripping from a confused spin dry.
I used to wash mine in the shower in high school, though I did leave one in my laundry basket once forgetting my dad would wash and dry it at work. No comment but I was embarassed.
