7th grade PE class Bike jock gym shorts and white tee with school name on it. Definitely showered after class.
We had a locker room and gang shower too in elementary school, but they were never used for gym class. I think they were exclusively used for the boys basketball team.
My dad wore jockstrap under his speedo so I saw a jockstrap hanging every summer on clothes line drying along side his speedo so I was comfortable seeing him in his jockstrap when dressed for beach.
Cool! My dad was a speedo guy too (and that's what he bought me, so I've always worn them.) He didn't wear a jock under it, it was always pretty snug. He wore a regular 3" waistband jock when he ran or worked out. When I saw the swimmer/runner jocks, I asked him what those were for, he said guys who swam in swim trunks/shorts wore them underneath, when those suits didn't have linings in them.
I cut out those annoying mesh liners out of my suits

My gym shorts were dark blue and loved my wideband jock showed above my shorts. Boys these days would be shocked seeing the short shorts we worn back then.
My gym uniform consisted of a school issued white tshirt, royal blue gym shorts that touched the knee, and white socks. Then of course, if we were going to wear a jockstrap, that, but it wasn’t even mentioned in our handbooks.
Our shorts were much shorter two inches above the knee

I’m finding the board shorts that are popular are way too long and I rip out the inner Linder and wear a swimmer jockstrap.

Yes, the gym shorts were white and you could see our jockstrap right through the shorts.

It's his loss. I don't really wear jocks outside of running or working out, but when I do they feel pretty comfortable. I have worn them under my jeans a couple of times (photo in the Jeans and Jock thread), but I'll have to warm up to that a little more.
Once out high school I found jockstraps more comfortable working out and lounging around home.
7th grade started out with yes my official gym outfit blue gym shorts white tee shirt Bike jockstrap white socks and whatever tennis shoes dad bought me. This all continued through high school . But afterwards yes my fetish for jocks grew till now 65 and still going strong. Love a good body in straps.
Hell yeah. In 7th grade, there were some guys who tried to keep that waistband hidden, but in time, they learned what a losing proposition that is. It's going to ride up, it's going to be visible.
I'm not so sure! Athletic shorts keep getting shorter and shorter the last few years! (Which means their compression shorts become more and more visible.)
