I have had three jockstraps stolen.
The first time, I am sure that my freshman college roommate took it. Going through my things when I went home for the summer, I noticed that my jock was missing. I knew that I wore it a couple of days before I went home and I know that I didn't launder it. The only person who could have had access to it was my roomie. He was transferring to another college so I couldn't asked him about it come fall semester. Funny thing we reconnected via Facebook, but I haven't asked about my missing jockstrap.
The second was taken from my gym bag at the YMCA. I was at the Y because a free swim was scheduled. The weather wasn't the greatest, so the pool, locker room and gym were pretty empty. After I showered and dressed I left my bag in front of my locker. I went into the weight room to talk to some friends who were lifting. When I got home, I noticed my jockstrap wasn't in my bag. There were a couple of pre-teens who were in the pool the same time I was and I talk to one young man for quite some time. His parents had a bad marriage, and the kid was desperate for an older man to show him some attention. I never saw the kid or the other ever again at the YMCA.
The third time was at my gym. I left my stuff on the bench and went to take a shower. When I got back to the bench, I noticed that my jock was missing. No one was in the locker room at the time. When I told the manager who was a good friend, he told me that a lot of men reported having their athletic supporters stolen

1. Could have been your roommate or a floormate who seized the moment. Could have been an accident with you roommate or someone who was turned on my you/your strap.
2. Ya if they dug through your bag, you had a fan. More than likely wore it and jerked off repeatedly.
3. Sounds like a guy who had a huge jockstrap fetish. if it was one guy who snatched your strap your name probably was written on it and then placed in a Ziplock baggy. They wanted to preserve the scent.
