CUP-ADDICTS' CORNER

Glad to see another cup fan on here. I went to school long after the demise of the jock. Everyone, including me, wore boxers for PE. I hated having my penis flopping around while trying to run or play sports. I started wearing tighty-whities for support and got made fun of constantly for it. Once I got out of high school I bought a jock and cup and have enjoyed wearing them ever since then.

What a deplorable situation you describe! I have ranted and raved in lots of sites about the demise of the jockstrap and the utter, utter, stupidity of wearing fuckin BOXERS for sports. I wish I could understand how we got in this situation, from the days when all guys jocked up for PE or sports to the point where a guy was made fun of for briefs. When I was in hs, NO ONE would have worn boxers because they were old man underwear. So weird how that changed.
This cup jock looks classic, tho I never wear just a cup jock without a regular jock underneath. If I wear the cup jock next to my balls, my sac skin gets pinched between the edge of the hard cup and my thighs. I find that pouching my balls in a regular jock or sports brief and then pulling on a cup jock keeps my nuts safe. That said, I took a page out of Nutty Buddy and started using just a regular jock over a sports brief , which hold the cup plenty tight .

How can it be so difficult to find a cup in the Land of Hockey Players up north???
Because (as I've pointed out [ptp!] in earlier posts) guys have been fallen for the propaganda of purveyors of cheap and «logo» JUNK. We can go to any Walmart, Canadian Tire, or even Sports Check etc. and find the same poor selection of JUNK. If you care about your «jewels» at all you take what's available and SUFFER it. There's a famous Canadian story about MAX FERGUSON, a CBC icon, who was a weekend jock. He formed a Hockey Team for the guys he worked with. They were all so poor they used to roll up magazines and elastic-band them to their shins, and for CUPS they went to the CBC record library and pilfered some 78rpm records, heated them up and molded them over the ONE REAL cup someone was lucky to already have. Thats the history of Hockey in Canada. It was a CANADIENS Defenseman who «broke the ice» around CUPS by wearing a Boxing Groin Guard. NOW, I see «Street Hockey» jock-wannabes wearing $150 GoalieCups over their $150 designer jeans! And they didn't get them in Halifax or Hamilton!

I’ve watched enough Border Security shows on YouTube to realize that customs would believe they are new and meant for resale, hence taxable
You'd have to be a Canadian to understand. (1) The «upper limit» on cash value of goods brought into Canada was, for decades CAN$49.00 ergo NOTHING. So everything was «dutiable» at ridiculously high rates, leaving aside their simple UNAVAILABILITY in Canada. (2) Those shows are written and produced by ratings-driven American TV networks — even IF they contain a few grains of truth, they represent a very different policy and attitude we suffer here, North of the 49th. We're veering off-topic a bit but it's one of my pat peeves as a jock/cup addict; I have to travel to the USA or the UK to find any decent jocks or cups.
