A jockstrap has three distinct parts; the pouch, the waistband and the legs straps. I think each has its own appeal. Of course the pouch holds the dick and balls, it tends to be the part of the jockstrap that collects the most sweat and it shows off your package. The waistband often shows above shorts or pants and can intentionally or accidentally reveal to others that you are indeed wearing a jockstrap. The leg straps are what makes a jockstrap unique from most other forms of mens’s undergear, historically they were often visible at sporting events such as American football or wrestling.

Which part of the jockstrap is your favorite? For me it’s the leg straps. They frame a male ass perfectly for sure but it’s also the part I notice the most when wearing a jockstrap. I enjoy the feeling of the elastic straps stretching as I go about a workout or just am out walking through a normal day. It’s the thing that reminds me “I’m wearing a jock”.

I hope some of you will take a few minutes to share your own thoughts and the reason why it’s your favorite part of your jocks.

Interesting question. For me, when I’m strapped, it’s all one thing to me — a unit, which supports my unit. Now if it’s what appeals when looking at a guy, then I cannot choose between 2 of 3 components — a) the ass straps, which frame the most appealing part of a man (to me); or b) the pouch, which (for me), contextualizes the other guy’s maleness.

Hmmm very interesting question - A cute butt framed by waistband and leg straps is always a hot sight..... but the pouch does the most work - keeping big balls supported, and from bouncing around.... and it shows off just how much "fun stuff" is in the pouch. All are good parts but I would have to lean towards the pouch being my favorite, with the leg straps and waistband a close second

It's always been the pouch for me. The thick pouch forming to, supporting, and isolating my penis and testicles feels solid and such an athletic sensation when doing active things like playing sports, lifting weights, or blue collar type work. It comes very naturally to me as a male to use a jockstrap.

Definitely the leg straps for me and the way they frame an ass. When it comes to gay sex, there are only two ports of entry-the mouth and the butt, and I am all about the butt. Butt butt butt.

Nothing can make a butt more inviting than those straps and waistband from the back, in my humble opinion. A butt is attractive enough in and of itself. The straps add a non-feminine degree of sexy without completely obstructing the view.

For support, the pouch wins. But for sexy, the straps sweep the category for this guy.

......YEAH, MAN!...I gotta TOTALLY-AGREE with-you on-THAT!...It is, always has been, and definitely always-will-be the jockstrap-POUCH for ME!...IT totally accentuates "ULTIMATE MANLINESS" in that it`s the only-part of the jockstrap that houses and protects the most "essentual"-organs a man has...and they are what produces all-those incredible-MAN-SMELLS that, for ME anyway, manage to get-me-very-horny and, is far more-effective-than-poppers!...I believe it must-be-the -male-PHEREMONES, the combination of sweat and piss-dribble and sperm (and "taint")...all exquisitely-combined!...THAT "totally-MAN"-smell...like-no-other!.........it "turns-me-ON!"

This is a tough one because all the parts have aspects I love. I love the way the waistband hikes up my waist and pokes out of shorts. I love the way the pouch feels and the way it supports and shows off my manhood. But I have to agree with a few others and say the leg straps are my favorite part of wearing a jockstrap. The way they feel when they're hugging my ass is the part of wearing a jockstrap that I notice the most and is the sensation I associate most with wearing one. That's why I especially love jocks with relatively thick wide leg straps and especially dislike jocks where the leg straps fold over or roll up, which is so annoying and a big distraction.

Also, if we're talking about a cup jock, then the cup is definitely my favorite part :)

For me it's all three, they really do work as a unit. The pouch highlights the bulge and draws attention to it. The leg straps frame the ass, call attention to it, and leave it vulnerable. The leg straps also show through shorts or pants worn over it in a way that makes it very clear that someone's wearing a jock, with all that entails beneath those shorts! The waistband holds everything in place, and its width means it's going to ride up above shorts or pants and again call attention to the wearer for wearing it!

For me there have always been four parts to a jockstrap.
1. The pouch which showed off what you were packing in the locker room. Sure in Jr. High when we were all told to wear a jockstrap there was a while aquand soon everyone was just hanging out in straps or naked. Yes, we had gang showers. Would love to drop a millennial + into an 80's gym or sports locker room and watch them melt down.
2. The waist band since earlier in my life the # of tracer stripes said the size.
3. The leg straps. While some just get off on how they "Frame the Ass" to me they were an integral part of keeping the pouch tight and in place. A full as coverage would not have done the same thing. Not to mention the sweaty ass of not allowing the sweat to go away. I am a very warn and sweaty guy.
4. The Tag - While the size does reference waist size, I find it funny when a little runty guy would be proud to strut around in a large. Dude we all know it has nothing to do with package size.

I am old school. A jockstrap is to have a 3" waistband and hug your junk while doing anything athletic. I could be full blown sports are a great workout at the gym. If you want to add some color then go for it. Wear what you think make you more your own. In Collage had some DUKE jockstraps and I like strapping on "THE DUKE" for a good workout.

While I do like taking a jockstrap into the bedroom and having my package played with it does not define my sexual practice. But I have to say I do love how one can play with my taint and rub on my ass while sliding in the happy hard one.

While I have to say leg straps holding up a great ass and sewn into the pouch right by a guys hole; I also like to understand the brand (tag as you explain). The pouch is also important, as I’m more turned on by a guy in a jock rather than just nude. Seeing whether a guy is curt or uncut through the pouch is also hot to me.
