Woven Fabric vs. Mesh

I want to know how a jock with woven fabric compares to a jock with mesh. I find that the jocks I really want to wear have woven fabric. I like the looks of other jocks but when I put them on I realize nothing compares to the comfort and feel of a jock with a woven fabric pouch. I’m not super well endowed but I have low hanging balls so I find that I experience a lot more slippage with materials that don’t accommodate as well as the woven fabric. So my question is this - does mesh function the same as woven fabric? I don’t own any mesh jocks and don’t know if I would like them but it’s hard to expand my collection if I only want woven fabric pouches. Any advice or suggestions?

The woven [edit: I meant mesh, like the original Bikes were] pouches are the BEST, per the classic Bike jocks. The new Nike jocks are good, except for the pouches. Would someone please combine the woven pouches of the classic Bikes with the plush waistband and thick, fabric-covered leg straps of the new Nikes.

If not commando, then jocked.
I find woven fabric a little irritating sometimes, but I have a Hollywood wax/shaved down below so it might be related to that. Mesh is my preferred option.
As many of you know, I’m a naturalist and not into shaving or waxing whatsoever. But whatever the choice, the struggle for comfort is real and individual. My husband and I happen to like the Nike pouches for their give and forgiveness, but we tend toward classic athletic styles mostly.

I'd want a precise breakdown of what people are referring to as woven, because it's probably a fine knit? good luck getting adequate stretch out of a woven without a metric ton of spandex. I was waffling for a while how to refer to a course open mesh athletic style vertical stranded Bike/Gym pouch, I call it webbing now. I think that would technically also be knit.

Anyways, There are some pube and hair snags on fabric that happen with spandex blend smooth fabric that don't happen in all cotton, but generally I think I need to find a new smooth jock that ( old roadrunner is a bit flat oouched and worn iut and too small at this rate) fits my fat gut because the sports webbing I enjoy on my package is not so gentle on my thighs, especially when they get that sticky apocrine sweat and chafe so bad especially on the stretch mark skin, it gets puffy and chafes even more.

I suppose some of it is thigh on thigh and can be prevented by hiking my pants up into my crotch, balls to one side which really warrants better fitting pants, I need a tailor. but some is the mesh webbing.
