I think a lot of it had to do with our sweaty balls. Especially for those of us who grew up when getting a jockstrap did mean something. While a large population of women appreciate the pleasures of a penis then do not care to deal with the most basic item which offers men the most support. While they may understand them being in the locker room they may not appreciate them in the bedroom. I have never really had a chick get too excited when I dropped my pants and had on a jock. However, I do always keep mine clean so really never had an objection or was asked to take it off. Had more guys ask me why I wore it and wanted me to take it off. My time with them was short lived.

I’ve been getting my wife into them. She’s been (with my encouragement) fantasizing about athletic guys. Good question…when I played hockey one of my trainers/massage therapists was a woman and she definitely liked them…she would rate us and make us wear one for massages
