Back in the 90's at the Macy's in the Stanford mall, they sold a jock under the Ralph Lauren Polo brand. I bought 2 of them and at checkout, the salesman, cute guy a few years older than me at the time, examined one of the boxes before bagging it. I could tell he was interested in the jock so I volunteered a comment along the lines of "these are really difficult to find". He replied "I didn't even know we carried these." I told him that there were still a few of them left on a shelf over in the Ralph Lauren underwear section. "Good to know," he replied, "I'll have to go check them out". I was going to volunteer to show him where they were but by then there were customers behind me waiting to check out. I found a bathroom in the mall and quickly stripped out of my underwear and slipped on one of the jocks. It fit perfectly. I redressed and went back into Macy's. By then my lust for the salesman was growing and I could barely control my boner. I planned on approaching him, showing the empty box in my bag and saying something like "I just wanted you know how comfortable these jocks are" and maybe offer to show him how well they fit. Someone else was manning his cash register so I went looking for him. The first place I looked was the Ralph Lauren undies section but he wasn't there. I did notice that one of the medium size Polo jocks was gone so I imagined he had picked it up and went to try it on. I waited for a few minutes but he never reappeared. I popped back into the store a few times when I was in the area hoping to run into him again but I never did.
By the way, the Polo jock was designed more for style and comfort rather than durability. The elastic in the straps wore out after about 6 months. I went back to the store and there weren't any more left. I haven't been able to find any on Ebay either.

My timing was perfect at Macy's in the 90's to buy all of the Polo jocks when they went on sale--probably around 15 of them. I still have several that haven't been worn yet. I'm surprised that with other brands selling jocks, Ralph Lauren has not jumped on the wagon.
