Inside or out.

I was curious after looking at some photos, is the tag (logo) worn on the inside or outside of your jock? Some of the vintage photos show both. I've always worn mine on the outside.

Outside for me - the straps bond to the band - and that goes outside, normally.

Outside for the same reason Dm106 mentioned. Also jockstraps like the "PRO" DUKE and BIKE #7117 used the cup waistband which usually had a plusher inside of the waistband. So on these jockstraps they looked odd of worn tag in.

Old videos and pics typically had the jocks worn with the label inward probably to avoid any legal issues with the manufacturers, like BIKE, DUKE, etc. I think in later videos and pics, where the label is on the outside, the manufacturers appreciated the advertising they were getting since sales were starting to slip.
I've always worn my jocks with the label out.

Other verification that the tag should be out. BIKE 2" straps the lettering would be backwards. I am sure this would be the same with JC's "PRO" strap. Under Armor would also have backwards letters. Then there was the McDavid grey supporter/cup supporter with lettering. My only question with that one was the tag on the backside of the jockstrap. It had a space for your team number. Was that so your teammates knew who you were from behind?

Also most jockstraps, like BIKE, the thicker side of the pouch ribbing was on the outside. Not something I want my piss slit to find.

The only ones where the tag should be inside including ones like Active Man. However, they are not waistband tags.

Always worn with labels facing out to advertise I always thought the jocks were turned inside out in some videos so they didn't have to deal with permission from the manufacturers.
