Ideas for Jocktober

October seems to be the month when guys commit to 31 days of wearing jockstraps aka Jocktober while others commit to 31 days of chastity aka Locktober. I’m planning on doing Jocktober. Debating a different jock every day for the month because I’m pretty sure I have at least 31 jockstraps or maybe go to the other end of the spectrum and just pick 1 and wear it for 31 days. What are your plans for October?

31 days in the same jockstrap maybe too long, it will be stained, smelly and raw within a short time. But maybe, as the chastity is opening for cleanning regularly (as much as I know about), maybe could be that take a shower in jockstrap to prevent the smell and raw rubbing. I like the idea but if I will do it, I would vote the change eery day version. (Even that I have far no 31 and different colours, so har to wash together.)

I only have two straps so I will be doing same jock all month and will wash every week. Worked well in High School and College for months at a time so jocktober should be a easy

Definitely wear a different jockstrap each day of Jocktober! Fall colors and styles! Browns, Reds, Oranges and Golds and of course football team colors on game days!

I have never worn a jockstrap, but I have had enough of wearing compression shorts for working out. The constriction they cause has reached a limit for me. Perhaps October is the month for trying a jockstrap! Anyone with recommendations, feel free to reach out!

Welcome here! Personally I love the Gym brand and Goldberg brand the larger waistband types. Also love the Obviously brand for pure comfort when wearing all day long! Bike jockstraps are excellent for working out, as are the Shockdoctor brand.
It'll definitely depend on how restrictive you want your cock & balls to be as you workout or if you choose to wear a jockstrap all day long. I find the fashion jockstraps tend to be more comfortable for extended wearability. But workout jockstraps, while great to workout in, can get uncomfortable when wearing for too long.
It really depends on how much equipment you've packed into your jockstrap after all!
Some jockstraps I've gone a size larger just to accommodate everything, yet some jockstraps never seem to fit no matter what size...it's all in how they're cut.
That being said, a trial period is necessary until you find jockstraps that suits your particular needs. Don't settle for anything less that complete comfort and know that you will go thru a few duds as you search for that ultimate comfort!
It's a journey that well worth it!

I prefer a snug fit in most underwear to “hold the boys in.” I was initially planning on just wearing one to workout. Perhaps wearing one for a longer period of time could be helpful in growing accustomed to wearing one? Thank you for the frankness as well, I will be prepared for some trial and error!

It seems almost crazy to me the number or guys that have never owned or worn a jockstrap. It's obviously a generational thing. My mother bought me my first jockstrap when I was about 12-13 years old. Throughout high school most of the athletes, depending on their sport wore jockstraps and weren't shy about strapping up in the locker room because everyone was doing it.
