Do you wear a swim jock with trunks or boardshorts?

Swim trunks with nothing underneath (stupid do-nothing inner lining cut out).

I loved those stupid do-nothing inner linings because they tickled my balls. LOL

Depending on brand boardshorts the I would try the shorts with the liner as a teenager. But iam a bigger fan rip the liner out and a fun comfortable jockstrap

As a youth/teen, the P.E. class and YMCA swimming was mandated buck-naked in those male-only venues. Otherwise, always wore, and continue wearing, a jockstrap under Speedos, board shorts, or anything else….often cut out the mesh lining of most swimwear, as it never provided the needed support or comfort of a jockstrap. For me, jocks were intended (though futile) control of my uncontrollable adolescent boners.… which were totally fine (and entertaining) when the guys swam/showered nude. Bike 10, various swimmer jocks, etc. were worn depending on the extent of coverage of the swimwear itself (not much room for a 3” waistband under a tiny Speedo brief). Though, eventually “showing proud” a jockstrap waistband was (still is) an important part of the appeal to many strapping guys, as it is to me. Our PE teachers needed to see the waistband to verify required gear was worn…. Even some of our activities (not swimming) required cup supporters! Strapping under swimwear is a habit developed years ago, that has become a mainstay under jeans and some other non-athletic wear!

Suggest to your nephews they can start (revive) a fashion trend by wearing jockstraps (and be proud to do so). Maybe add, “you gotta show some ass to get some ass?” Part of the “nudity” issue is a subtle awareness of recording/camera devices on everyone’s phone. So many [nude] pics are literally “in our faces”
…. they don’t wanna see their own bare ass on their (or anybody’s) phone. Just a thought!

My fiance is 25 so when he was in high school they didn't dress for pe or showers were not used. So he didn't know anything about jocks. Hes refused to even wear one. He sees me in mine daily.

One summer when I was in hs, I went to one of our local lakes with some friends. I was wearing cutoffs I had made from a pair of old white jeans. Underneath was a swimmer Bike jock. The lake was a fairly popular one so there were quite a few people there. Since it was a hot day, we all ended up in the water to cool off. When we got out of the water, one of my friends came up to me laughing, "We can see your jock through your shorts." The white cutoffs had become almost transparent when wet. The next time I wore blue jean cutoffs instead with my jock underneath.

I always jock under a swimsuit, whether it's lined or not.

From that summer in 1969 started my jock love when told to wear a small handme down jock from my older brother for swimming that day. Turned into all summer and jr high and high school. Several new jocks later and years still love a jockstap.

I’ve read with some amusement about guys removing the lining from swimming shorts/trunks
And I thought I was the only guy who hated those liners and would resort to speedos under my shorts
I can remember as a child seeing an old guy lying on the beach with his balls hanging out the side of his shorts
He was oblivious to his predicament
The lining definitely wasn’t doing what it was supposed to do and we sat there laughing and smirking
Our parents had no idea what we were laughing at
And I’ve worn speedos under my shorts or wetsuit ever since
Never occurred to me to wear a swimmers jockstrap
Maybe a jockstrap would have helped curtail those moments when my dick had a mind of its own at the beach

I love my jocks and proud to wear all day. Seeing young guys wearing Boxerbriefs under swim suits or jogging shorts working out are just afraid to be seen in jock.

I totally agree when I was like 9-11 I don’t remember the liner in my swim suits but was already wearing a small youth jock . But after all bathing suits since then ripped out the liners and used my swimmer jockstrap. I’ve taught several other guys along the way
