If you have a deep freeze, Freeze the key in the middle of a 5 gallon pail. Hang it from a string tied to a rod so you can center it on the top edge of the pail It should take 2-3 days to thaw and by then the urge may be gone. Some guys use an ice cube but that's way too easy.

That's a good idea, but sadly no deep freezer access for me. Ice cub definitely too easy. I had one of those lock boxes the rea;tprs use for houses. The kind that you set a random combo for it. I did an online website to be a pseudo electronic computer key holder. I broke the box to get the key out. I was coming off watching, reading porm all weekend edging and lost it.
