Are kinks genetic?

Seems like a stupid question. A coworker told me kinks are genetic. I’ve never heard of this before. And I legitimately can’t tell if he was joking. But it makes for decent discussion anyway lol.

so, are kinks genetic? Are you into the same stuff that your dad is/was?

I don’t think they’re genetic. But with that said, my dad DID tell me about how he wanted to fuck and cream a girl we saw at the supermarket… who just happened to be the girl I regularly jerked off to. So perhaps.
But if so, he never really showed much interest in jockstraps. Closest I ever saw was a suspensory. So where did my jockstrap kink come from?

I don’t think they are genetic either Scott, I never saw any jockstraps until probably my mid twenties, am a huge underwear fan and really got into jocks in the last few years. 👍

Interesting topic. My father passed away before we got to any kind of discussions about that. We shared dirty Jokes via email back when he was here; but never had any kind of those discussions. My son, is dating a MTF trans woman now; but we haven’t spoken about kinks. Interesting to know if there is some either genetic or behavioral factors from growing up that play into how we are built.
