Part of the purpose of the forums is to allow men to exchange their views on sexuality and clearly jockstraps can be a significant factor in looking and feeling sexy.

I think though that another valuable purpose of the forums is to normalize men wearing jockstraps for athletics, as a daily underwear choice or just another option in the underwear drawer for when we want to feel sexy or feel we need some extra support. I don’t want to rant, or pretend that I don’t find jockstraps a fun addition to sex, however, I don’t think that the type of underwear we choose to wear, including jockstraps, should be viewed as an indication of gay or straight or top or bottom. As men who have an appreciation for jockstraps we should be promoting them as good choices for everyone.

The first time I heard this question, I thought it was just about the most ridiculous thing I'd ever heard. (1) Men should wear whatever they want to wear. (2) Jockstraps are both functional and "hot" regardless of sexual position. (3) Speaking as a predominantly top guy myself (I consider myself versatile, but top a lot more often than not), I've always worn jocks and always will. And I want the guy I'm with – bottom or top – to wear a jock, too. In fact, I wouldn't bottom for a guy who wasn't wearing a jock!

I totally agree with this. However, if I hook up with someone and he’s wearing a jockstrap, for me it’s a lot more fun. It’s probably due to the fact that it brings back memories of the first time I was fucked.
