  • Guys, you've got to help me out here. This site is about jockstraps. In the Gallery, the Jockstrap Categories about about Jockstraps. If what you're wearing in your photo is not a jockstrap then it simply doesn't belong in one of the Gallery jockstrap style categories. You can post some non-jockstrap photos but you have to post them to your Personal Albums and please keep them to a minimum as they still end up on the main Gallery page and dilute the theme of this website.... JOCKSTRAPS!. Read the FAQ from the main menu if you need help on how to post to a Personal Album.

As far as you know, they are true to size? I am a 34-35 waist so there are 3 different sizes being from three different makers.

The sizing spread is given by each manufacturer/designer. There's no such thing as a standard and there can't be as it's a combination of actual length of the waistband elastic but also how much (or how little) the elastic stretches.

The most common mistake our customer make is that they ignore out suggested size spreads and just go "I'm a medium in a Calvin Klein brief so I'll just buy a medium in all brands". Elastics are forgiving but you want it to be the BEST fit. It's also problematic when brands like SafeTGard have a small which is actually a youth size and their medium is more like other manufacturer's small.

The best advice I can give to you (and anyone else) is to actually take a fabric tape measure and measure around where you like to wear your jocks to come up with your actual waist size. If you don't have a fabric tape measure, use a string and then lie it flat against a straight ruler.

We've been carrying Cellblock 13, Nasty Pig and of course our own JC Athletic brand for years and those recommended sizes are pretty accurate. In the rare case we have a new designer and we end up getting too many sizing complaints from customers, we will adjust them.
