Younger Generation Wearing Jocks?

I've realized that there seems to be an age gap among guys who wear jocks. I know a while ago jockstraps were a very normal thing and practically everyone wore them to work out and whatnot. However, I am a college student and I almost never see guys wearing jocks in the locker room which makes me self-conscious whenever I'm wearing one. It also seems like a lot of people in this forum are from that time period when wearing jocks was normal. Are there any other younger people in this forum who feel the same way or like jocks as much as I do?

50yo here and got first jockstrap for little league baseball. We all acted like we hated them. That continued on as played upper levels and High school. But I loved it. Would wear it when home Alone. As hot HS occasionally saw others wearing and not hiding. Then college - the lockeroom with all ages - mostly jockstraps. Definitely took while to grow confident Wearing just jock (white Champion with thin red and blue stripe - cause we all were wondering).

feel like thou at gym now, and at beach - actually seeing more jockstraps all together but definitely more younger guys wearing em. Fashion jocks to old school thick waistband. They connect generations of guys. Knowingly or unknowingly. Most masculine thing a guy can wear imo.

Iam 63 here inCA finding most teenagers or young men not wearing a jockstrap. I went to gym in my 50’s I was the only one in my age group strapped. There was one 75 yrold guy wearing a jockstrap. The high school kid that came in the afternoon wore Boxerbriefs and those god awful long gym shorts to work out in and after grabbing thier backpack and leaving with out showering.
I love my jocks.

https://www.bikeathletic.com. has reissued the classic Bikes and I think they're even made in America. I ordered a classic 3" Bike and tho' it wasn't like the ones I really wanted (I got two fo those on eBay: 80's style straps; awesome ) it was nonetheless of a style that I recalled from the 80's as well.

I am 47 and do not know anyone my age or younger or older for that matter. I never see them in the locker room. I wear them anyway.

Jockstraps were not used by myself or anyone else when we were in school. At 19 I started wearing a cup jock for everyday underwear. I still cup regularly, but now wear mainly regular jockstraps. I love the support, and believe it is important for keeping my penis and testicles healthy. No boxers, boxer briefs, or any of that crap. I proudly wear a strap!

thats unfortunate. when i see a younger guy in a jock im excited, cuz hes like me! i really wanna meet some of the younger guys here like me. ive always wanted a bro my age to hang and wear jocks and bond man to man.

36 here and I jock up every time I do any sports or lift weights. Jockstraps are probably less common in the UK where I grew up. A chance encounter at the local cricket club back in the 90s was where my fascination came from. Now living in the US, I was slightly disappointed to see so few in the locker room. Still, I’m trying all the time to set a trend. Strength in numbers my fellow jock brothers.

Does seem lots of porn has younger guys in jockstraps - not necessarily old school thick waistband straps - thou there is some. Lots of Andrew Christian, trophy boy etc.
Porn aimed at daddies? Maybe.
but have definitely seen more younger guys at gym with a jockstrap instead of compression shorts. And have encountered many at nude beaches (when they’re stripping down or getting dressed)

jockstraps seem to ebb & flow but never fully go away only to come back around.
Maybe lame/weird but always thought jockstraps were a generational link for certain guys….
