Funny that these came out now. Just a month ago, I thought I'd try to construct a sewn in jockstrap with my new running shorts because, as usual, the liner was useless for balls support. I'm no seamstress (seamster?) but I was proud of myself. I realized I had to sewn in just the front part of the waistband and leave the back waistband free to "float". I recalled, I think, having a pair of shorts with jocks sewn in that way, but I'm not sure. Anyway, it worked!
They are not cheap. $46 (Canadian?)

Not Canadian dollars. The Bike company is in the US so it's US$ but from time to time they give discounts, for example on Black Friday. If you subscribe to the Bike newsletter &/or follow them on social media you'll get discount codes up to twenty percent. In that case you coul get the shorts for 36.80 US$ but I'll keep an eye on it & try to post here as soon they'll give the discount.

You're welcum. Very sometimes, like for example on the 4th of July, Bike gives a 25% discount so if you're very patient you could get the Bike jock-short for 34.50 US$.

I got this email too, but honestly I'm a bit disappointed. This is something I've actually emailed Bike about...
They make shorts with a shitty liner, and now they make shorts with a "jockstrap" built in, but they do not sell a pair of shorts that you can wear on top of a regular jockstrap. I just think that's crazy considering their main products are jockstraps. I have a pair of their shorts that I cut the liner out of, and I love wearing them with a jockstrap underneath. I don't understand why they thought they needed to come up with a pair of shorts with a jockstrap built in, instead of just selling a pair of shorts with no liner that you could wear one of their jockstraps underneath.

Gotta admit -- I bought a pair, and I'm really liking these shorts. They're cut short, so some guys won't like them, but I'm not constantly hiking them up my thighs when I'm squatting or lunging like I do with most other gym shorts. I'm not sure how they will hold up, though, as the last few Bike jocks I've bought have had quality issues.

Someone asked for jock sweatpants on Instagram, or was that you? No, I didn't buy them, I don't wear shorts at the end of autumn or in winter.
So I've been wearing the shorts I purchased for a few weeks now. While I like the shorts themselves, the built-in jock leaves a lot to be desired. I bought the shorts in medium, but the jock doesn't really support the boys... it is as if the manufacturer sewed a large/x-large jock into a pair of medium-sized shorts. I like a snug jock; this doesn't provide any meaningful support for me. I don't have a big ball sack, so maybe that's issue. But still...

Please don’t blame your body. You’re not the first person I’ve read that had a similar opinion, not only about the Bike but other brands as well. At first glance, they look great, but I basically do the same thing at home in two separate pieces. And if I feel like it, I can drop the shorts.
