HISTORY:

Riddell is an American company specializing in sports equipment for American football founded in 1927 by John T. Riddell.

Riddell first invented the removable cleat and then went on to invent the first ever plastic suspension helmet in 1939, eventually manufacturing helmets for the war effort.

The Riddell athletic supporter is a modern offerring although I currently can't find them on their website or for sale anywhere. They may be out of production.

Riddell jockstraps are pretty basic cotton jockstraps designed to hold a cup.
