HISTORY:

Although the idea started in 1924 with company Gebr�der Dassler Schuhfabrik, it wasn't until On August 18, 1949, when Adolf "Adi" Dassler split with his brother Rudolf and registered the �Adi Dassler adidas Sportschuhfabrik� with 47 employees in the small town of Herzogenaurach, Germany developing and manufacturing shoes for athletes. Interestingly, thiss German multinational company now includes Reebok sportswear company (who also produce jockstraps)

As far as we can tell, Adidas have only produced athletic supporter with a pocket for a hard cup.
