Ouch! I bet you don’t.I do miss being able to shoot volumes, but I don't miss the catheters.
radical prostatectomy at 49... My priorities/wishes at the time in order:Ouch! I bet you don’t.
I'm glad you are alive and still with us.radical prostatectomy at 49... My priorities/wishes at the time in order:
1. Not die
2. Be continent
3. get a boner
Thankfully all three are good. I sure do miss shooting a load though. It's just not the same.
Yeah catheters were not fun at all. Trying to be discrete was very difficult.Ouch! I bet you don’t.
Knew a county visiting nurse who did home health care. She always had a box of catheters in the trunk. I thought she was the meanest person on earth for that! Last time I was cathed in the hospital because I had to lay still for 6 hours ended badly with a horrible infection. I feel bad for you guys that have to go thru that everyday.Yeah catheters were not fun at all. Trying to be discrete was very difficult.
I can not find a doctor like that. I am in souix falls sdIt seems medical professionals are getting less and less hands on, which likely isn’t a good thing. Whether for DRE or something else, I’d prefer a doc who is not afraid/trained to be hands on and actually examine the patient. I just went to a new biological dentist. He could have retired years ago but wants to continue helping patients. Wouldn’t you know he actually did a quite thorough, hands-on oral and neck exam. They don’t train em like they used to! Now if only I could find a medical doc like him.
Thank you. I did radiation treatments, I'm still alive, but orgasms are dry. The alternative, death, is much worse.I hope you’re ok
True. It's hard when we have to chose life or death. Glad your still here.Thank you. I did radiation treatments, I'm still alive, but orgasms are dry. The alternative, death, is much worse.
… Yes, glad you’re still here, very much so.True. It's hard when we have to chose life or death. Glad you’re still here.
Wow that’s powerful. Can I ask if you’re comfortable sharing, what stage was the cancer in? Was this an issue the doctor was already following. My PSA is still elevated but no signs of cancerTrue. It's hard when we have to chose life or death. Glad you’re still here.
And just to follow up. This is helpful for me personally on my journey but also maybe for some of the young men here. I have been honest with my younger male coworkers about this so that they are comfortable hearing this and discussing this and also should their doctor ask to check or they have a need to discuss with their doctor that they understand this is a perfectly normal part of the aging processWow that’s powerful. And not only age-related. Men need to be less reticent to understand that, like an engine, our parts require maintenance. And just to follow up. So very very true. Like I said. That is why I was open and candid with my younger male coworkers. Just as many younger men have not been exposed to group showers and are uncomfortable with that, many are also uncomfortable with full mens medical care. And not only age-related. It’s dangerous from start to finish, this bizarre fear or excess modesty. I understand that I’m the far end of the scale — two older brothers, naked swimming in school except for meets, team sports and locker rooms and nearby my entire adult life in the Corps among men. But this towel-dancing culture that’s afraid to acknowledge they have a cock or balls, even when it’s medical, is seriously at risk.So very very true. Like I said. Truly weird!I was at the Korean bath. The kid next to me was showering in athletic shorts. He had a very dark tan. His shorts had sagged on the side and he was very white where his suit/shorts covered. He was probably a life guard. I thought..he’s a lifeguard and comfortable showing off his body. (He was clearly in the sun A LOT in just shorts.) but was too uncomfortable to be naked with just men? Weird
First and foremost, as a Marine who served in multiple burn pit presumptive locations but has never had any of the conditions, thank you for your service. And I hope that your treatments have left you healthy and able to enjoy life.My prostate exams started early around 30. I had tumors the size of hotdogs in my sinuses. I'm essentially the poster child for the US Military and VA's "Burn Pit" initiative. When those were removed, the VA started doing cancer screening every 3 months then after 4 years it went to yearly.
My first prostate exam was so unbelievably embarrassing. I was a whore and loved being DP'd and being the cumdump of my hockey league. The doc looked at me explained what he needed to do and said, "you're going to feel some pressure. Or not." He in two words called my cock hole sloppy. I was mortified. The doc was so unbelievably hot too. That was when I decided one dick at a time in each hole was perfectly fine.![]()
Thanks for your service as well Marine! I will never be able to breathe well but, hey I'm still here!First and foremost, as a Marine who served in multiple burn pit presumptive locations but has never had any of the conditions, thank you for your service. Second, and equally important, as a man who’s enjoyed many cockwhores in my life, thank you for your SERVICE!
Last, mortified to be acknowledged by the doc? C’mon, admit it — you were proud as fuck. And if you were mortified, I bet it was only because he didn’t choose to use you right then and there!
Stay healthy, brother. And welcome here! Hope you’re enjoying the site with us. We’re glad to have you.
You’re (and men like you) are a treasure. Hope the breathing is good enough for you to . . . exert yourself. Thanks for your service as well Marine! I will never be able to breathe well but, hey I'm still here!
OMG, I so wanted to hear his pants hit the ground and him grab me by my hips.
