What would you say to someone who noticed you were wearing a jock and said something about it?
Great answer!I'd tell them I prefer to wear a jock because it is comfortable and I need the support because I'm on my feet all day and it lets me work harder and longer with less fatigue. With all your bending and twisting, it's easy to squeeze a testicle in boxers. Ask them why they don't (or if they) wear one and see where to conversation goes. A jockstrap is just underwear unless they want to make something more of it.
So what happened? Co-worker, customer, friend approach you? or are you just gearing up for when it happens? What would you say to someone who noticed you were wearing a jock and said something about it?
I'm just preparing myself. At work I bend over alot and I know my waistband shows and one of these days one of the guys is gonna say something.....So what happened? Co-worker, customer, friend approach you? or are you just gearing up for when it happens?
Just so it doesn't have a printed waistband that says "bottom" or something like that! Guess you got time to think about it now. If it's a co-worker I'd just say "if you had a set like mine halfway to my knees, you'd wear one too!" I always worry about it with customers in the summer too. Besides the obvious sweat/strap lines in my shorts, the waistband rides up too. I try to keep my t-shirt tucked in, but it works it's way up too. The jock really helps in my situation. No one comments when my customers bend over and their designer boxer-briefs are half way up their back, so why would they comment on my jock. Reminds me of the UFM video below. Jock is still better!I'm just preparing myself. At work I bend over alot and I know my waistband shows and one of these days one of the guys is gonna say something.....
I did buy one of their products. Only part I didn’t like about their boxers was that if I would bend over, my balls would fall out, the drawstring would smack my nuts as they came out. Shit had me hunched over too many times. I will not buy them again. Jocks for the win!Just so it doesn't have a printed waistband that says "bottom" or something like that! Why? There are several reasons to choose a jock strap over just underwear. I would say that you co-worker doesn't understand the why's? I rather guess they do not have a reason to be critical., and they probably aren't Until I was in my 30's, and wore jeans & cords most of the time, can't remember a time when someone asked, why are you going commando? I certainly wouldn't think that if they were asking anything except why do you find a supporter to be better than another method? We all have our primary reasons. Do not look for the most insulting reason to choose what you do; I wouldn't assume they intend it to be "questionable". I choose it for comfort, support, and that my rear end doesn't leak. I don't "hide" my jock and I feel it looks masculine. Don't look further than that. No one asks women why they wear such abbreviated bikini bottoms; neither should you Autobear69. It just make sense. He is probably asking and not accusing, He is dweeb if he were implying something else. Steven, IndianapolisSome years back, before I strapped 24/7, I was changing into my walking shorts and other clothing after work in the company bathroom. I thought everyone had left for the day. I had just slipped on my jock, which was a classic white 3" BIKE at the time, and was stepping into my walking shorts when a co-worker walked in. He glanced at me and went to the urinal. After he was finished, while washing his hands, he commented that he didn't think jockstraps were still a thing. I told him my doctor had recommended me wearing one to help prevent groin strain, which was partially true. My co-worker said as he exited "Not a bad idea with all the heavy lifting and shit we have to do sometimes." Several times after that, when he bent over, I could clearly see the waistband of a wideband jock. Good to know I helped bring someone into the jockstrap brotherhood!
Incredibly well put!I'd tell them I prefer to wear a jock because it is comfortable and I need the support because I'm on my feet all day and it lets me work harder and longer with less fatigue. Thanks for the comment on the product. I have been wanting to try them but wasn't sure of the fit since boxer briefs work their way south on me. Even yesterday had on my trusty jock with boxer briefs over it for warmth and by day end the boxer briefs were 3 inches lower below my jock waistband. Keep on strapping boys, it works.I did buy one of their products. Only part I didn’t like about their boxers was that if I would bend over, my balls would fall out, the drawstring would smack my nuts as they came out. Shit had me hunched over too many times. Here's another perspective from a younger guy I have admired thru his posts elsewhere on the net:What would you say to someone who noticed you were wearing a jock and said something about it?
I'd explain why they were so comfortable and ask if they wanted to try one on. That's exactly what happened when I asked an older guy in the lockeroom when I was 17.. I did try one on with him and became hooked! What would you say to someone who noticed you were wearing a jock and said something about it?
I’d have to tell him how I was always a curious fan of straps then did the research to find the tremendous benefits of wearing a jockstrap. I would have to tell him about having Vericocel and since wearing straps there has been no problem at all. At that point I’d I would have to ask about him about his interest and if he would like try one. What would you say to someone who noticed you were wearing a jock and said something about it?
Nope, my co-worker wasn't being accusatory or implying anything about me being jocked. He was very cool about it and I think he was genuinely surprised to see one "in the wild" maybe after not seeing one for years. One thing to clear up, I did wear a jock from time to time for work, I just wasn't wearing one that particular day. Also, one day I was sitting with him alone for lunch (this was sometime after I had noticed the ride-up) I asked him if he had ever found a jock to wear (I didn't want to tip him off that I already knew) and he replied "yeah I found one at K-Mart." From experience I knew that there were more durable comfortable jocks available. At that time our local Target still had BIKE jocks available but in limited quantities and sizes and I told him that was where I bought mine. He said that the straps on the K-Mart jock were already fraying, and that the pouch had a small tear in it. He said he would get a BIKE strap the next time he was at Target. A few weeks later I could see the white waistband of a BIKE jock riding above his jeans. It just make sense. He is probably asking and not accusing, He is dweeb if he were implying something else.
