What is Your Favorite Jockstrap (and why?)

So here's my question:

What is your favorite jockstrap or brand of jockstrap and tell us why?

That's an awesome combo too and it looks amazing on you! The jock pouch is one of my favorites of their creations. Totally unique!

The thing is with Cellblock 13 is they keep on spitting out unique sexy gear all the time. The owner/designer Timoteo is amazing and continually coming out with new creations. They're more like a fashion house so they come out with something then retire it within a months or two to make way for the next i-gotta-have-it gear.

I haven’t seen the jockstrap version and can’t find it on your website?

There is not a jockstrap version at the moment. As mentioned, most CB13 collections are discontinued after a few months. The last jockstrap with the Jock Armour cock ring and snap-off pouch came out in late 2019. Since then, they've been doing variations of the Prowler (thong back).

I expect a new jockstrap coming soon but to be honest, with Covid, CB13's product launches are all messed up due to delays in manufacturing. For example: a collection of short shorts and crop tops that was supposed to come out last April finally arrived in November. We didn't bring in the crop tops but did bring in the shorts.

Going into winter is not the best time to be bringing in shorts. Thankfully, they've been selling very well.

I was buying some items on Amazon so looked through their jockstrap selection - when these caught my eye:


Arjen Kross Mesh Jock Straps - I really like the styling, they are incredibly comfortable, the fabric is amazingly soft and also well ventilated, the leg straps shape my ass perfectly and the pouch is sized nice and large to allow for all my parts to be able to hang down with just the right amount of support. I was very pleasantly surprised with the quality given the price. Although made in China, the size chart has an accurate conversion side for US. I give these an A+ and plan to buy more.

They're actually from Wang Jiang who keeps rebranding themselves. They also make these designs for other companies, allowing them to stick their logo on them. You can get them pretty cheaply from Aliexpress.

I do get why so many guys want to buy cheap underwear from China (and Amazon which is often the same thing): They're cheap! We've seen lots of samples from these Chinese companies and find it's often a game of Russian roulette when it comes to quality (and sizing). I have seen a lot of Wang Jiang products and will say they are one of the better ones when it comes to quality. Some have been pure crap.

I will only say this. Don't be surprised when all the small gay owned business like us, Cellblock 13, Nasty Pig, International Jock, Fort Troff, Full Kit Gear, PUMP!, Mr. S Leather, Addicted, ES, etc.. all go out of business. The ironic thing is that many of these Chinese companies are blatantly copying PUMP, ES, Addicted, etc... So when they all go out of business, who's designs are they then going to copy? lol!

Not to mention, those Chinese companies won't be building a Your Jockstraps!

It's only a light rant as I'm guilty as well. Amazon is just so damn convenient. I still buy video games from them although I'm buying more digital versions right from Xbox and Nintendo these days. But, I did buy all my Christmas gifts from local brick and mortar stores this year - felt it more more important than ever this year with the pandemic and all.

So here's my question:

What is your favorite jockstrap or brand of jockstrap and tell us why?

My favorite jockstrap has a waist band that is between 1 1/2” and 4 1/2”. The leg straps are rolled and stitched. The pouch can either be ribbed like on a classic Bike, smooth cotton or mesh and silky. The junk pouch should also be roomy, not loose but not too snug either. Is there a perfect jock out there? In my opinion, there are many that fit my criteria. I’ve purchased many and used them all in order to determine what I like and prefer. Jockstraps are my “go to” underwear for daily use. Styles, materials and designs are forever changing but I’m always successful in finding a jockstrap out there that works for me. My favorite brands are GBGB, 2xist, Jack Adams and Bike.

My favorite jockstraps and cups are all from the 70s and 80s. Bike, McDavid, Winwell, Protex and a few others. I was in football and hockey so all I ever got were the typical sports-type straps. I never got into the stylish fancy jocks; in fact I don't think they weren't even around at that time. My absolute favorite was an OBC, the Original Banana Cup. It was wider and deeper than any other standard cup out there. No I am not a huge dicked guy I just loved wearing it. Nothing ever felt better than an OBC to me.

I love the classic bike jockstrap - Wideband. I find some of the Mr S jocks to be great as well. I'm partial to the large band ones.
