Because I have so much spare time...

When we started Jockstrap Central, my main inspiration for our photography was the old vintage physique photography of the 1920s to 1960s. While booting around the Intertube today, something inspired me to to some filtering of our photos to create a new vintage postcard series.

(I'm actually considering getting some of these produced as a postcard set).

Here's the first few...

I always look forward to seeing what postcard I get with every order I get from you guys. These look amazing and I'm sure people would appreciate the look of these.

These were just a fun experiment but I may end up doing a run of them for our postcard giveaways.

We're working with a new printer and haven't been happy with the results - mostly a color shifting issue and I'm about to give up on them. But, their pricing is amazing. Doing a run of a vintage styled postcard like the ones above would resolve the color shifting issue as they're really no color other than black, white and sepia.

Our old printer, while I loved the results, just raised the price of a run by 30% so I'm looking for a new printer.

I hope I get a postcard of my boy Chance 🥰 when my new PROformance jock arrives Monday. The second I saw him in this jock, I had to have one just like it.

Chance is on the current postcard, but as you can read above, I'm not happy with the quality of the color. The postcard turned out flat and yellowish. Going to find (another) new printer once this last batch runs out.

They’re all great but I think Jonny Twofour just has the edge for me.

Another vote for Chance. He is who mostly gives the atmosphere of a sporty gentleman of the 20s and 30s. I think the style of his mustache helps a lot in this. (If the colour of the picture would be darker, seemed even earlier era.) At the first sight somehow he reminded me to Muybridge's picture. William Miguel's mustache also brings the atmosphere of 1930s movies. Altough (I am afraid) they are not really suitable for being real postcard but you maybe could edit a limited collector series about some models, in different moods and era. (For example Chance in the 20's.)

If not commando, then jocked.
:ROFLMAO: Not really hard hat, I think the hat is a determintive piece from the 20's, 30's. A hat a slipped asie jockstrap and a mustache. :) (Even the end of the last centuries, "you can leave your hat on" :) )
Thank you to the appropriately named Joe COCKer for the “You Can Leave Your Hat On” song. (And having had many quick encounters in the Corps, something I said more than infrequently!).
