Surprised to find them at Walmart

Since Sports Authority went belly up, I have not seen a regular jockstrap in a store since. When football practice started in August, I would go there to check out the jockstraps and the section was stripped clean. You might see a few small McDavid straps hanging there in their two-pack size small hanging there. Any box store I go to only has cups and cup supporters but not traditional jockstraps. This includes the local sporting good store which supplies the local teams with jerseys.

That surprises me actually. Usually it's the local stores that have the older jockstraps. I picked up my original bike #10 from a local shop years ago. Another local shop had a few older jockstraps and older style cups on the shelf. I wasn't expecting to find anything, and ended up having to hide my hard-on

We’re the Walmart SDs without a cup pocket?

I’ll have to double check but if I remember correctly they only had jocks with cup pouches. They didn’t sell cups separately but they do sell compression shock doctor shorts with a cup.

I used to love going to Sports Authority. I would go all the time after class and buy socks and jocks and whatever else caught my eye. Such a shame they went out of business. Dicks has some jockstraps but not nearly as many and I’ve noticed they are implanting more of their own “DSG” branded stuff like jocks. Which don't look like great quality

DSG is a poor excuse for a sporting goods store anymore. Back when they first came to the area, I loved them. Sports authority on one side of the highway, DSG on the other. If I needed something, one of the two was sure to have it (though I preferred sports authority).
DSG is now more of a fitness-oriented clothing store, with a few sports things at the edges.
