RUSSELL HARDWARE COCKRINGS - EXCLUSIVELY AT JOCKSTRAP CENTRAL

Most of you know our buddy Ryan Russell as a porn star and long time model of Jockstrap Central. Well now he's off on another tangent, producing his totally awesome Russell Hardware Cock Rings. This collection is practically bespoke, vibrant and sturdy featuring stylish designs to get your noticed. There's even a glow-in-the-dark ring and one that changes color from the heat of your skin!

Let's let Ryan tell you more:

"With over a decade on and off camera, I know what it takes to get a dick lookin' its best! After years on the lookout for a perfect fitting cockring, I finally decided to make my own. I have big ones, small ones and everything in between. But like Willy Wonka, I've been tinkering with perfection and finally cracked the code: Tailor-made and practically bespoke. Every one is (almost) an original."

They're all made in Ryan's 3D printer so the colors are vibrant, designs unique so they'll definitely get you noticed - especially when your dick is rock hard.

They're made from 100% Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene, or ABS. As a finishing touch, the rings are hand sanded to ensure they're as smooth as Ryan's bottom (trust me, that's pretty damn smooth!)

We're launching with 7 fun designs - collect them all!

*As we're still in lock down, we weren't able to get these shot on one of our models. But Ryan was kind enough to at least get a few shots of each ring on his junk. He didn't have proper lighting but the photos are decent enough to get a good idea of what they look like on a guy. As soon as we're out of lock down, we have our model Matty (and his massive dick) on standby for a proper photo shoot.

Don't forget to bring a flashlight with you to keep it charged and glowing! Are we going to get a preview here on Your Jockstraps? Or at least some photos of you in your new jocks?

Thank you for your continued support! We really appreciate it.

Can't wait to show off my new gear when it arrives. Not sure if lighting will allow me to show off the glowing cock ring in the dark, but trust me, I will try.

I’m not sure about the sizing of these cock rings. They’re just labeled as small, medium or large. Do we have diameters? How should I guess at what size I should buy? Also, is the material stretchy or rigid?

Hey pope. They list the diameters, they also have some measuring guidelines. If I went by the guidelines I'd be a major huge cocked porn star, so I ignored the guidelines. I supposedly would need a XXL custom. I'm not tiny but I'm realistic. They should reconsider what is posted for sizing. I ordered based on what I've played with in the past, thinking about shoving my junk a ball at a time through a ring. The material is not stretchy according to the info, very rigid.

Will have a Flashlight, and maybe a Fleshlight. Will post pics, might need a fluffer for photo shoot.

Getting the right size, whether it's a solid metal or plastic ring or even one of the adjustable ones, is important. We include the "measured" size both in the size selector drop down box as well as include a sizing guide in the usually long winded descriptions I painstakingly write (and no one reads, lol!)

For the Russell Hardware cock rings, here's the sizing guide:

Sizing Guide: These are solid plastic cock rings so there's no stretch or give to them. For sizing, treat them as you would a metal cock ring. To figure out your size (circumference): use a fabric tape measure to measure around the base of your cock and balls, don't make it tight. If you don't have a fabric tape measure, use a string to wrap around the base of your cock and balls then lie string flat against a flat ruler to determine the circumference.

small: Diameter: 1.75 inches
Circumference: 5.50 inches
medium: Diameter: 2 inches
Circumference: 6.28 inches
large: Diameter: 2.25 inches
Circumference: 7.06 inches

Ryan Russell, the guy who makes them, chose his three most popular sizes. Any other size we can have custom made.

Don't fixate on the words small, medium and large. It has nothing to do with the size of your cock, just a descriptor to indicate the size of one ring to the other.

It's the same with sizing a jockstrap, so many guys come to our website thinking "I wear a medium in a Calvin Klein underwear so I'm a medium in all underwear. But a medium to one designer could easily be a large for another. There is no standard. We offer a suggested waist size spread in inches for each size and you should go with that. With SafeTGard jocks, their size small is actually a youth size and fit a 20 to 26 inch waist.

I'm not sure how else we can offer up sizing on cock rings. This is how we've done it for years and have had minimal complaints. They fit around the base of your cock and balls, so that's where we suggest guys measure with string or a fabric tape measure. The given measurements are exactly that - measurements. The diameter is the inside of the ring from one side to the other. The circumference is that times Pi (3.14159265359).

If you have any suggestions, we're all ears!

I get that. My circumference is 9 inches, and I usually wear a 2 inch metal ring. If I used the formula the ring would be close to 3". I'm really not that big in the junk, kinda average soft. I went for the Large at 2.25, mainly because it's a wide ring (1") and don't want to stress the boys when shoving them through the ring. I looked at what a 3 inch ring looked like at the hardware store prior to selecting the Large size - seemed way too big. If I pull tape a bit tight, I get about 7" which does relate to the Large size. Guess that is my suggestion, pull the tape a bit tight for the measurement. Will post a pic when I get the ring.

So I got my straps and rings today. I should have gone for the medium/2". This is why I question sizing guidelines. I should have just stopped at the "wear whatever metal ring size" advice. While what I got (large/2.25") works if I am always hard, my right side boy slips out when less than hard. Was concerned about shoving junk through a thicker ring, but should have ignored the sizing advice. Not criticizing, I just don't understand how that works for most folks. I measure 9" around cock and balls (puts me in custom zone), if I pull somewhat tight I get down to 7" (which leads me Large), and it just doesn't really work. Should have stuck with Med/2", which mostly keeps things in place when soft, and is still good when Hard. So I recommend folks check out inexpensive hardware store metal rings first for fit and comfort, and then go for it. Maybe I need some personal fitting time with Jockstrap Guy to figure out where I went wrong hehe.

I know this is an old post/thread, but since you asked for suggestions...
I wear elastic cockrings because #1, I'm a "grower" and the hard ring that stays put on my softy, becomes painful on my hard-on. The XL ring that I couldn't possibly keep in place flaccid, barely fits just my shaft when erect. #2, I hate the "clicking" of teeth on a hard cockring (especially when it's MY teeth 😅).
So...sizing guidelines that explain measuring methods are a fine first step, but suggested "uses" or "best for a certain purpose/activity" or "suitable/not suitable" for casual wear vs. sexual activity, would be appreciated in selecting a size of any given cockring.

They're all good suggestions but I only have so much room on a product page for information and I think you'll find our descriptions are already probably the longest and most detailed of most other stores selling jocks and gear.

I think this forum is the perfect place for guys to share their experiences with cock rings. Some guys like more practical rings and other guys like extreme rings and even enjoy slight pain. It's such a personal topic.

I will say that when choosing a cock ring, we assume the buyer knows themselves at least a bit. They know what their equipment is and their likes and dislikes when it comes to sex or masturbation. I don't think each ring has a "purpose" as I'm sure you'll find some guys wear metal rings all day long, some wear them to bulge in gear and other wear them for masturbation or for full-on sex. Same with any other ring.

For me, most Russell Hardwear Cock Rings won't work for me for masturbation or sex as they're too wide but as cock jewelry maybe. My husband Adrian, however, has a large cock and it would work for him for all purposes. So what do you put in the description? My preference or Adrian's?

I know I don't have a huge dick, in fact I'm probably pretty average or even less than and I know from experience that I don't enjoy a cock ring that's too wide as it takes up too much of my shaft and when I'm jerking off - I like more skin exposed to get more pleasure. A smaller ring doesn't impede my stroke.

Just some thoughts.

How long can one wear one like this? Can this be worn when flaccid?

If it's properly fitted then you should be able to wear it for hours. A solid cock ring, whether plastic or metal should fit around the base of your cock and balls without being tight. It's when you start getting hard that the ring become tight and restricts the blood.

The other consideration is: your balls. If you have small balls or ones that hug close to your body then you may have a problem keeping the cock ring on when you're flaccid.

Personally, I'm in the small ball category and wearing solid cock rings outside of masturbation or sex isn't generally possible. If I'm going out then I'll usually choose a rubber/silicone stretchy one as it stays on better for me.

If you take the "I/I'm" out of this reply, you've written the descriptor I suggested. "This solid cockring is best for sexual activity. This ring will never let you forget it's there!" (...a subtle clue for the anxious or unfamiliar customer who wants something "tame") vs. "This stretchy cockring stays put and comfortable for all your daily activities, work to play!"
The people who "know" themselves are the ones who would scan or skip most of the description. The "new to cockrings" customer is the one who would benefit.
I'm not a copywriter, but I think I'm sorta circling around the kernel of a good idea here. Incidentally, it might be helpful to indicate what size cockring the model is wearing. I know I'm not as girthy as Ryan, but Jack's size (bring him back if you can!😋), would likely work for me. Yes, I know the models probably wouldn't be too keen on that concept...
