By default, when you join this site you will be sent email notifications to let you know when another member has replied to a Conversaion (private message) or forum post you started or are a part of as well as any comments to photo you post to the gallery.
Please, DO NOT reply to those emails. The replies will only end up in inbox. There is a reminder in those notification emails to "Please don't reply to this email" Guys are not reading it.
There is a green button in the email that you can click on to take you to Your Jockstrap and see the Conversation or post and reply to it through this website. The whole point of the Conversation (private message) system is that you can have conversations with other members without divulging your email address.
If you don't want to be notified when another member replies to you through this website, you can change your email notification settings through your Preferences page here:
