My dad found my jockstrap

So, like 2 months ago my dad found my jockstrap with my dirty clothes. He asked my about it, but i dodge the question.

He is not into sports, so i been hiding them since then, but i really Like to wearing my jockstrap. After taking a shower, under my sweatpants, when i go out.

Do how i talk with my dad about my jockstrap? Because i want to buy more and wearing them without pants around the house.

Imo, it's really none of your dad's business that you wear a jockstrap. Simply tell him that, for you, a jock is more comfortable and supportive than regular briefs. Case closed. That said, wearing an exposed jockstrap and no pants in front of your dad and/or other family members may be pushing it a bit too far.

Definitely a comfort and fit issue. What did he ask ? Why you have it ? Nothing wrong with having one whether for fit sports or regular wear.

Yeah, maybe you're right.

He might understand that a man has to take care of his vulnerable parts. I'm always walking and running all day, and some extra support will help me a lot.

Don't worry pal, I'll Keep my pants on.

Perhaps he's intrigued and thinking about wearing one himself? When I discovered my Dad's jockstrap I asked to borrow it. He then took me to buy one for me. Some men just need a little encouragement from another man to begin the jockstrap journey of self discovery and exploration!

This is a chance for a dad and son to bond. He is probably proud of you for doing something manly that he didn't have the courage to do.

If he has a negative reaction, it is only about fear for some reason. Maybe fear of being different or being sexual. You can help him by being confident. It really isn't important what reason you give him for wearing jocks. Act with confidence like the school football hero would act and he will have to honor you. When you do what you want you don't really need to explain it to anyone.

Don't expect him to exclude you. Don't take his question defensively. You include him and be a confident stud. Every man hopes that he raised his son to be a little more confident and a little more manly than he was, without his son excluding him. Accept that position as the manly son he raised, and reach out to him like he is an equal. Be the cool guy in school reaching out to the nerdy guy. Actually, you don't have to be the manliest guy in the world. You only have to be a young man unafraid to fully enjoy life. It doesn't have to be a testosterone contest.

Tell him that if his generation didn't wear jocks that he can try on your jock any time he wants to see what they feel like.

Go ahead and wear your jock around the house, butt naked. He will probably admire your younger more fit body and feel pride inside.

He may be your father, but in this regard you are both males who have reached puberty. You are equal to him in choosing what you want to wear on your balls. He cannot contest that. Be an alpha male. Alpha males claim their territory; they take the top position. If you do so, he will not want to embarrass himself by not being an alpha male.

BOTTOM LINE: We tell other people what to think of us. We have that power. It works no other way. If someone thinks that others get to define him, he is a fool. We define ourselves by our confidence or by our timidness. So be confident. He can't change it. He will have to accept it. Liberate him ! Let me know how it goes.

So you wear boxers or briefs right? Only him around? If so just wear jock straps. Ease him
into it. If he has any more questions let him ask. Sure he isn't opposed to it. Just tell him they are comfortable say to him he could try yours on if he wants too.

Since my dad was out of town a lot for work when i started 7th grade, my mother had to buy me my first jock. Back then in the early 70s, a jockstrap was mandatory for PE. The teacher had given each of us a list of items that we needed for class: red t-shirt, red shorts (these were the short shorts common back then), 2 pairs of white athletic socks, sneakers, and a jockstrap. I loved that jock so much I would wear it instead of my usual tighty whities to school on non-PE days. It was my underwear of choice over the next few summers as well. It was a sad day when the elastic in the leg straps wore out and it had to be thrown away. By then, I had pretty much outgrown it and had already purchased some larger size Bike straps on my own.

I wish I still had my boot camp jock, but it was completely wore out by the time I got to my first duty station.

When me and my brother started playing sports and wearing them, we got to end up wearing for underwear as well so that's all the parents would buy us growing up
