More enjoyable physical education activities

Physical education classes were more enjoyable for both the students and teachers alike when the class size allowed something other than just calisthenics and running laps. I don't recall seeing crab soccer but the view of the boy third from the right shows why a formal "jock check" wasn't always necessary.
Pyramids were a very common activity but one which probably fell victim to coed classes and potential injury concerns. Anyone remember either of these activities in your PE classes?

CRAB SOCCER in HS was least popular PE activity. BUT, did offer good visuals--I could have been that be-spectacled freshman boy (until Coach said I should choose a PE tennis option & picked me for swim team). Coach also supervised body shaving sessions--THAT was enjoyable PE acitivity...

We did crab soccer. Never did the pyramid.
My favorite activity was hockey. The entire class time spent just being aggressive with other boys. It’s one of the few gym activities I excelled at.

I remember crab soccer. I loved it. We didn’t do the pyramid thing. We also were not required to wear jockstraps. We were required to shower. I remember running into the shower to get damp and running out to dry off. I was so self conscious as a skinny white kid. Ashamed of my body, ashamed of looking at the other boys. And now I wish I belonged to a gym where I could strut around naked not giving two fucks who saw me and openly oggling any naked ass man I wanted. Also I still would like to play crab soccer with a bunch of jocked up dudes. I’d kick some ass and hopefully suck some dick!

Yes – Crab soccer. Jocks were expected. It was actually very good exercise!

I remember flag football, a couple of the guys would cheat by wrapping the flag around their jock waist band to make it more difficult to get the flag out.

I wish my school didn’t take its pool away. When they renovated it , they did away with the pool. Filled it in, and made a courtyard instead. That courtyard almost NEVER got used.

A younger, straight friend of ours was recently bemoaning his wife’s desire for plastic surgery and her lack of interest in sex. He said — “I mean seriously? She wants me to shell out twenty grand for that when the last cosmetic surgery she had was her vaginiplasty, and she never uses that thing!” I, of course, offered an alternate possibility — “Maybe she just doesn’t use it with you!” Admittedly I had an ulterior motive — he’s exceptionally hot, far too str8 and really should let his two older gay friends take care of his unmet sexual needs.
