Just a heads up...
By default, the system send you email notifications when someone has replied to a Conversation (private message) you're having along with the actual reply as part of the email. There is a green button in the notification email that when clicked will take you directly to the Conversation window with the other member so you can view the reply and reply back.
Although the notification email includes big bold red "Please don't reply to this message" many members are doing so. When they do, their message/reply ends up in my inbox box (as the site administrator) and doesn't get to the person they are having a conversation with. It's frustrating for me and annoying for them when their intended message is ignored.
Because of this, I have removed the Conversation reply from the email. That way, members will HAVE to click the button to visit the website to view the reply. Alternatively, if there is a reply to a Conversation you're having with another member, you'll also see a red notification at the top right of your screen that indicated a reply you haven't seen.
In case you're new, Conversation is just another name for private messages. These are done privately through this website. The only people that see these Conversations are you and the other member. It's a great way to chat with other members without sharing your personal details like your actual email address. You can start a Conversation with another member simply by hovering over (desktop) or clicking another member's username whenever you see it. A profile box will appear with a Start Conversation button in the box. Click it to instigate a Conversation.
