Jockstrap Fetish

I got hooked on Jockstraps in Jr High, when Jocks were required for school sports and PE. Heck, even the coaches wore Jockstraps under their tight BIKE coaches shorts. Stripping off my briefs, and then putting on a Jock always has gotten my unit stirring, something about putting on the Jock, adjusting the waistband, ass straps, pouch. Love the way a Jock smells after a good work out. I'll admit I picked up a few Jocks off the locker room floor and bench at the end of the day in the gym, something about the way they looked and smelled, pure masculinity. Still have many jocks in my underwear drawer, mostly BIKE brand, wide band. Appreciate seeing a few Jock wearers at my gym under their gym shorts, watching them peel off their sweaty gear after working out.

Too bad there aren't enough of us out there to justify someone making REAL Bike jocks like the one with the wheel!! Lots of rubber in the pouch and waistband. Pouch designed the right size and length for a man. Those were the days!

Yes I remember the Jr HS/ HS boys locker room experience included stripping down, strapping up and then getting sweaty. Jockstraps were a requirement for me 6th grade gym class began the requirement of strapping up. Sure most were shy at the beginning but soon we would talk crap as we strapped up. Sure there was some teasing mostly to the guys who were not growing hair yet. Then there was one guys mom who wrote his name right down the center of his pouch. He was the only one who had his name on his jockstrap. We had to shower together and I never saw a towel dance until I joined a guy in early 2000. I guess being a youth of the 80's jockstraps were just part of the culture. You saw them everywhere and even on the big screen. The locker room was the last place where men could just be men.

Dear "jacquestrap",
If someone were able to legally obtain the copyright and the "secret formula", there is a high probability that one of the industrial looms might be able to replicate the venerable # 10. A friend of mine explained that before the textile manufacturing was moved, there were looms in North Carolina which were the size of a room each which were required to produce the thread/material needed for the honeycomb 1960s Bike # 10. Most of those manufacturers, like the # 10, have since disappeared from the United States, but it might be interesting to know whether similar industrial looms are still functioning in other countries (for example, India where there is both cotton and rubber available). The question, though, would be the total cost per unit when finished.
The new retro red-blue-yellow jockstrap with a Bike logo (though not the same material as the original design) is being sold, with tax and shipping, for nearly US$ 30 per jockstrap. This is a far cry for those of us who recall when the orange box with one Bike # 10 was labeled at less than one dollar! Of course there has been inflation, but 30 dollars for one jockstrap is a bit pricey for someone like me who is a serious athlete and uses jockstraps daily. To have a week's supply (I never wear a sweaty jock, all fetishes aside) is an outlay of 200 dollars. So, if someone is serious about manufacturing the original material combination of the #10, let us also determine the price-point.
Let me conclude by saying that to this day, the original cotton/rubber combination of the honeycomb # 10 is the best! I have more than 500 of them in my collection, not including the ones which I still use because I have yet to find a suitable replacement.
Let's keep brainstorming on the idea.
