Jockstrap fabrics

Being a former high school swim team member, I have always preferred my swim briefs made from a combination of nylon/lycra or nylon/spandex fabric. I found that this combination of materials was more comfortable, better fitting, less itchy, and quicker drying than swim briefs made from polyester or polyester blended fabrics. Also, the swim briefs made from nylon/lycra had a bit more stretch to them, as well as being sized so that they would fit well even if they were a size larger or a size smaller than a perfect fit, unlike most of the poly blends which have less stretch to them. Another factor in my liking the nylon/lycra blends was they usually appeared to show more bulge, while still providing plenty of support and comfort.

My question: Does anyone know of any jockstraps made from nylon/lycra or nylon/spandex fabric? (Probably including some rubber in the straps would be practical also.)

I have some Jockmail jockstraps, one of which is cotton & spandex (it is really quite stretchy), and another of which is nylon, rubber, and cotton (somewhat stretchy).

Love the orange one...I had a couple of lace-ups, didn't care for them too much. As for fabrics, I prefer a full cotton or heavy-cotton blend. They hold the man-scent better. (oink)

The orange one IS a cotton blend, and it does hold man-scent (although not as much as 100% cotton). These pics of me wearing it show that it does stretch!

Adams USA cup jockstrap, with cup taken out, has a polyester pouch with the otherwise classic waistband and straps. It still has the little snaps up top but I actually really love this jock! The polyester feels nice against your cock, but it still is a good old fashioned athletic supporter.

I graduated high school in 2001. I think most of my team members used to wear nylon/spandex swim briefs at that time. Seems like most of the boys today seem wear polyester blends from what I notice. If you check out the Swim-Outlet site, it's where most high school teams buy their swim suits from now, and it's mostly poly blends that are the best sellers today. There's still a few popular brands that make suits from nylon/lycra, but it's probably mostly people like me who buy them, I think. Probably because the major brands like Arena and Speedo seldom use nylon blends in their line anymore now.

Just curious, if you are, or if you ever were involved in competitive swimming, what fabrics you prefer for swim briefs?

Never swim team but do like swimming. Just wondering support of jock when swimming creates a bulge in trunks. I am straight but I get horny. Want to show a hard dick if can. I just want to pop a boner right now. Thanks for your question hope you can reply.

It would be redundant to wear a jockstrap with swim briefs, especially if you wanted to show your boner, as there would be an extra layer of unnecessary material. Additionally, it would take much longer to dry. With other types of swim trunks such as the boxer type, square-leg, or boardshorts, then wearing a swimmer jockstrap underneath would be useful if you need or want the extra support it would provide. I still only wear swim briefs for swimming, however I do like some of the swimmer jockstraps for wearing at other times. Hope that answers your question.

More in my albums!
I’m 21 now, but I swam competitively from 6-18. I know a thing or two about swim briefs and jocks lol.

Poly blend suits definitely have less give, but they do last longer in chlorine. I have a range of nylon/Lycra blends as well as some poly blend suits. More nylon = more “clingy”.

I have a couple of (2)Xist jocks that are a nylon/spandex blend that are very comfortable. They’re a couple of years old, but I don’t think they’ve been discontinued.
Love to see you in them...wet of course...
